Morally? I guess not. Religiously? Depends on what you believe. Factually? Maybe, as I don't think most of the "ghost hunter" shows are real.

No. I love ghost shows. Just don't like the reality show crap.
Ghost hunters were great at the start and ended up with a bad taste in my mouth when they were caught faking things.
Ghost adventures was the same. Great at the start but Zak has became so frigging obnoxious, I can't stand the show at all anymore.
The shows like paranormal witness and the like that tells a story are far better, scarier, and entertaining to watch.

Perfectly fine! Enjoying ghost stories is a very human thing.

With respect to ghost movies and stuff, I don't consider it to be good or auspicious from the perspective of the art of feng shui.
I suppose it would be the same for ghost tv shows, which I have not seen much though and hence I cannot give a definite verdict on it.

When it comes to horror movies i would recommend - The Others (2001) starring Nicole Kidman. Its a really good movie.
But don't watch the trailer or it will become a spoiler.

Just con jobs to fool the ignorant.
A friend is an actor who got a job on a ghost show. Very excited he really believed in ghosts, this would be the first chance to really see one.
He drove to the haunted castle, he was given his script. He sat down to learn it. Noticed that the ghosts were scripted too. He screwed up the script, got in his car and drove away.
He was so disappointed that his belief in ghosts had been shattered.
But if you enjoy the entertainment value then why not watch them

I think these shows commonly deal with the real paranormal but that doesn't always mean the show always understands it correctly. It's good food for thought for me.
I watched “most haunted” once,the psychic guy went into a trance and it was farcical but seemed harmless enough.
I like the traditional ghost stories at Christmas though,don’t even know why but it is entertaining.

I think, since I don't believe in ghosts, they all seem generally boring to me. They don't affect me in any particular way except that sometimes I find the attempts to scare me/the audience occasionally makes me chuckle.
