Let's assume there is some supernatural being out there that is responsible for the creation of earth and it's creatures.

You have the option of

A) Be poor, unattractive in the eyes of the world, be feeble (weak), inept, be unimpressive, have no human friends, have no earthly family, but be beautiful and rich in the eyes of God (s)

(that supernatural creator being (s), and have a relationship with him/her )

B) be materially wealthy, have mansions, a castle, yachts, power over people, many talents, be renowned for your external beauty (or how handsome you are), everything comes easy for you, life of total luxury and ease and comfort, lots of beautiful erotic dancing girls if that's your thing, and all that your heart could desire regarding pleasure and material possessions.

The only downside to option B) is you have no relationship with the Supernatural creator being(s) that made earth and are a total atheist.

Now, granted, I'm not talking about the creator as he is often displayed. Scripture says "God is love" and God is beautiful.

The God of the Old Testament is undeniably a mass murderer, a child (and pregnant mother) killer, a hateful intolerant jealous sadistic bigot. Which nobody can deny. It's easy to prove.

But we don't know that God had anything to do with what the Old Testament attributes to him.

So, if indeed "God is love" and nothing is more beautiful, perfect, wise, and powerful than God, would you rather have option

A) or B)

Please be honest guys. If you prefer the erotic dancing dancing girls and mansion over being a despised popper who has God, it's okay.

Rich and powerful atheist. Being a theist and living certain lifestyles is hard enough, I feel. So the poll just sounds like it's being made double-hard, having to give up riches and fame too.

A bit of a no brainer.
Not bothered about the powerful and would be happy to have enough money to be 'comfortable' and afford a few luxuries.

Little luxuries like food and soap are great atheist bonuses

I pick God over money any day of the year.

I hate this question. Cuz I am polytheistic. So if it's a choice between one God and atheism I can't decide. Both are horrible. I mean nothing wrong with atheism but I prefer polytheism
I think I'd go with rich atheist if polytheism ain't an option. But if theist includes polytheism then I'd prefer to be poor. After all Im already a poor polytheist

I don't understand the "ineptitude" part. Also, I don't agree with the delineations, of course: rich = atheist, poor = religious.

I can picture an atheist who ain't rich going: Upgrades, upgrades people.
"Upgrades, upgrades" was pretty much how I was when I started making more money, lol.
Whoever said money doesn't buy happiness clearly never struggled and needed more and then discovered how much better things are when you aren't struggling anymore and floating above poverty.

That's the good thing about hypothetical questions like this. It's not delineating anything, just asking which you'd prefer. Like the deaf or blind one. I suspect most would say neither, but if asked that's the options.

I chose rich etc because then I could give my family and friends a good life, and I think God would prefer I take care of them more than God cares about respect of God.

In my opinion.

I think you'd find about 15 million Jews who would, to put it mildly, disagree with your assessment.

I wish you no ill, Matt, however, I think the time has come for me to finally say a final "Shalom" to you. Understanding that you have issues does not make what has all too often been anti-Jewish crap any more palatable.
