What was something you remember that you liked from the 1990's?

I liked it back when being opposed to Neonazis was not a controversial political stance yet.

I remember the computer melt-down scare that would collapse the economy since older computer software couldn't handle the change from 1999 to 2000.

Great music and MTV showing videos.

The UK was obsessed with girl/boy bands in the 90s, it was pretty much the only thing you heard. Since we only had BBC, I spent years thinking I just didn't like music. It was only later that I realised how much good music I'd been missing out on.

We had grunge and metal and hard rock. It was the last decade for great music here.

There were remarkably many TV shows with heroines, such as Star Trek Voyager, Xena, Charmed.

I liked the 90s because I finished high school, got through Uni, moved overseas, came back, and changed careers, all within 10 years, whilst simultaneously meeting my wife.
Wasn't time to get bored...lol

Pre-mobile phones was a definite plus. The ability to actually be disconnected is useful.
