If Jesus Showed up Today...

My stand is the exact opposite of YOUR alleged comments about YOUR “taliband” friends. You refuse to respond to my legitimate comments, but instead you post a pile of rubbish.
MY Stand is the SAME as Jesus’ stand, if you would have actually paid attention and open your eyes, you could have seen that.
Christianity is the bigger terrorist than Islam could ever be.
Because of the militant christian churches popping up all over the US.
Do you have any idea the psychological damage done to so many people because of your backwards christian ideals?
Your fear of “rag heads” is completely unjustified and your name calling is disgusting.

I did happen to notice that you were COMPLETELY INCAPABLE AND UNWILLING to respond to my previous post calling out your false beliefs.
If you had beliefs with any value, you could have responded, but NO, it’s very very hard for alleged christians to respond when I quote the words spoken by Jesus in the gospels. You struggle mightily to respond when the words of Jesus are right there in front of you.

You should be ashamed of your response, especially the name calling.

Wait... wait... I thought I had responded. Can you just repeat the basic question and
I will try and answer it.
It depends on what you mean by 'Christianity.' Sometimes people ask me about the
'virgin Mary' or 'Papal Infallabilty' or some such. I mostly reply that I have no idea.
They will respond, 'But I thought you read the bible!'
'Sure, I do. But that stuff isn't in the bible.'

If Jesus Showed up Today...

The thread was started on Monday last, did Jesus show himself up anywhere here, please? Right?
Even the " three days and three nights" have passed over the time of the topic of the thread, please. Right?
Jesus died a natural death so there is no possibility, I understand, that Jesus will show up till eternity like others who had died and cannot show up now, please. Right?

Regards

Psalm 83:18
Would he end up in a mental institution rather than have been executed?

God sent Jesus for a specific reason... to be a ransom for obedient mankind. (John 3:16)

The arrest and execution of Jesus easily could have been stopped if that was Jehovah's will for his Son. (Matthew 26:52-56)

Jesus' death fulfilled Bible prophecy about the Messiah and how he would be put to death (not put in a mental institution). (Isaiah 53:1-12)

Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, the Imam of the age and the Founder of the Ahmadiyya Movement in Islam, was perfectly true when he prophesied:

“Harken, all ye people. This is a prophecy of Him Who had created heaven and earth. He will spread this Community of His in all countries and will make it supreme over all, through reason and arguments. The days are coming, indeed they are near, when this will be the only religion which will be held in honor. God will bestow extraordinary blessings on this religion and Movement. He will frustrate everyone who seeks to destroy it. This supremacy will last till the Judgement Day.Remember, that no one will descend from heaven. All our opponents who are alive today will die and no one will see Jesus son of Mary descending from heaven. Then their next generation will pass away and no one of them will see this spectacle. Then the generation next after that will pass away without seeing the son of Mary descending from heaven. Then God will make them anxious that though the time of the supremacy of the cross had passed away and the world had undergone great changes, yet the son of Mary had not descended from heaven. Then the wise people will suddenly discard this belief. The third century after today will not yet have come to a close when those who hold this belief, whether Muslims or Christians, will lose all hope and will give up this belief in disgust. There will then be only one religion that will prevail in the world and only one leader. I have come only to sow the seed, which has been sown by my hand. Now it will sprout and grow and flourish and no one can arrest its growth.”
(Tazkaratush Shahadatain, p. 64-65) by Mirza Ghulam Ahmad- the Promised Messiah/Imam Mahdi. written in 1903

So you believe it was God's will for the Romans to execute Jesus?

Muffled

Jesus in me
I believe if someone showed up in Israel today claiming to be the Messiah, he would not be accepted unless he delivered Israel from her enemies except for the antichrist who is the devil incarnate and can lie so effectively he can get people to believe him even if itis preposterous to do so. I don't believe Israel executes people today for their beliefs and a person would not be considered insane if he did miracles. My guess is that most people would just laugh it off as a good joke.

Muffled

Jesus in me
I'd just ignore him all over again and hope others did likewise. I don't think he should be locked up, but if he were in Israel preaching his stuff I would hope he'd be deported...

I believe no-one forces God to go where He does not wish to go.

Psalm 83:18
So you believe it was God's will for the Romans to execute Jesus?
Yes, because Jesus' sacrifice is the means by which God delivers or saves humankind from sin and death. The Bible refers to the shed blood of Jesus as a ransom price. (Ephesians 1:7)

Why was the ransom needed? The first man, Adam, was created perfect, or without sin. He lost the prospect of living forever by choosing to disobey God. When he had children he passed on to them the defect of sin. The Bible indicates that Adam "sold" himself and his children into slavery to sin and death. Being imperfect, none of Adam's descendents could buy back what Adam lost. (Psalms 47:7-8)

God felt compassion for Adam's descendents in their hopeless situation. However, God's standard of justice required that he not simply
overlook or excuse their sins without a valid basis. God loves mankind, so he provided the necessary legal means for their sins to be not only forgiven but also eliminated. (Romans 5:6-8). The ransom is that legal basis.
