he did through the cross

He did through Jesus Christ... a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

You want puppets with no free will. Every parent doesn't want their children hurt but free will disobeys parents.

You remind me of Job to which God responded, "
4 “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Tell me, if you know so much.
5 Who determined its dimensions and stretched out the surveying line?
6 What supports its foundations, and who laid its cornerstone

If we were better than God, would our lives be the way it is?

Can't blame God for the virus that was created in a lab. and when God created earth, there was no disease... man opened the door.

So... what is your beef? Or you want to follow Adam and Eve's example of blaming God and others to rid you of your personal responsibility?
I wouldn't have a messed up life if God gave me the understanding, wisdom, and graces I prayed for.

As far as I can tell, God told me he wants a sick, confused, violent, and disturbing world full of suffering.

Many times I'm convinced he told me that.

Like I said... seems more like Adam, who blamed God and his wife, the wife blamed the devil and no one wants to own up to personal responsibility.

Jesus healed the sick, he didn't put sickness on anyone,
Bible says confusion of of the devil
Jesus came to relieve suffering and not promote it.

Are you hanging around the wrong God? (In the Christian understanding)

And here I am pointing you in the right direction and you are rejecting it. The Prophet Hosea said that people are destroyed for rejecting the knowledge of God.

Not at all.

I'm saying when I read Scripture I get confused.

God causes a lot of sickness, famine, evil, and suffering too in Scripture. He doesn't just heal it.

I don't know if you are pointing me in the right direction. Everything I see, appears to say you are mistaken.

If God would give me the graces I prayed for, I would be just fine and could do his will.

Instead, there's all kinds of people trying to say they are pointing me in the right direction, God remains silent, my prayers don't give me the understanding and guidance he promised, and confusion causes me to error and make mistakes.

God could have made the confusion go like I told him to.

God bless!

Or... could it be that you simply haven't asked a teacher or mentor and, instead, listened to the mantra of atheists (since you use the same wording as they do?) - The disciples asked when they didn't understand and learned

If you are teachable, you learn. If you learn, confusion stops.

Notice: 2 Tim 2:25 Gently instruct those who oppose the truth. Perhaps God will change those people’s hearts, and they will learn the truth. 26 Then they will come to their senses and escape from the devil’s trap. For they have been held captive by him to do whatever he wants.

When you learn, your heart is changed, you get out of the devil's tramp, and you are released from him messing in your life.

There are no lies in God or Heaven, so God can't lie. There is no sickness in Heaven, so He can't give it. Jesus didn't give sickness, he healed, He destroyed "the works of the devil" which included sickness.

If you believe that God gives you sickness, you will never fight the devil who is the author of sickness and death and the devil keeps you captive.

But.... if you are not open.... Hosea 4: 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge,

God created the heavens and earth in six days and then rested on the seventh day. If you accept that for the sake of argument, since humans were part of the first 6 days of creation, and God rested on the seventh day, who was in charge of the humans, while God rested?

If God was able to create the universe in one day, why does he need to babysit a bunch of moron humans, while he is supposed to be resting? It would make more sense for him to rest and recharge himself, and assign the human baby sitting to someone else. I tend to believe the person assigned and thought to be the God of the Old Testament, was Satan.

Satan, like his tree of knowledge of good and evil, was also both good and bad. This is how the God of the old Testament behaved. God the Father would be more neutral and analytical. This would be needed to create a universe while also setting all the laws of physics in motion. God would not be about emotions. The universe would be chaotic.

If you study the bible, God caliber creation, as special as the events of the first six days, does not occur again until Revelations; first there is the Heavenly Jerusalem descending from Heaven and then a thousand years later at New Heaven and Earth. Baby sitting moron humans, instead of resting, was way below God's pay grade. He was resting from day 6 until Revelations.

Satan tempted Adam and Eve while God was resting. God did not intervene since he was resting. However, God also saw how Satan had a way with humans, so Satan was put in charge of the earth and humans. Satan appears have been accepted as God in the old Testament by many religions.

Satan was not the Devil back then, and he was way up in the power structure of heaven. He became the CEO of the earth, after the fall, with God the Chairman of the Board. God had the power to hire a CEO as he rested.

If you look at the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness, at the end of his 40 day fast, Satan, among other things, promises Jesus the wealth and power of the kingdoms of the earth, if Jesus would bow and serve him. Jesus does not say Satan does not have this authority on earth, but rather he declines the offer. Satan was in charge of the earth, even at the time of Jesus. Had Jesus accepted the offer he would have become the Messiah anticipated in the Old Testament; powerful and rich. But that would have boosted Satan and the polarization of good and evil. Instead by declining the offer, Jesus would get Satan fired; thrown from heaven. When Satan is thrown from heaven, his actions are no longer condoned by the Chairman of the Board. Jesus would then get his job. Jesus had a different style.

Is it okay to give God a bad time?

I simply can't read the Bible. It has some good wise messages that change hearts for the better, but the wrathful, jealous , bigoted , angry Yahweh, is just totally in need of medication, and needs too much attention, or he flips out and kills people or burns them.
No, you have a perception problem.

He reminds me of myself sometimes, or like his mother didn't hold him enough or love him, but even I dont tell people to worship me, I don't get angry if you use my name in vain, I don't command or approve of genocide, I don't declare that you should destroy monuments that Hindus or Polytheist cherish as sacred. Maybe he reminds me of someone else.

That is total bigotry. Not to mention, most of the Bible has reoccurring racism , and even Jesus was undeniably racist, unwilling to heal a women's daughter until she admitted she and her people were dogs.
You seem to be a half empty kind of guy. When you see someone about to be curb stomped, would interdict or should you contemplate the story of the curb stomper? What if you are the curb stomped? Since your glass is half empty, you side with curb stomper rights. God chose to protect the precious seeds from worldly forces. Who the god of this worlld? Satan.

The woman was a samaritan, unbeliever, opposer of Christ, antichrist. Why should He give faith-healing to the enemy who does not believe? Since your glass is half full, you side with the politically correct notion that she has rights to dignity. Jesus placed the woman on the spiritual path way so she may know eternal life. Is that a bad thing?

He chose twelve males of his ethnicity in a very diverse empire, and the levitical priesthood of the Old Testament was a boys club of the same chosen people, who were often forbidden to marry people who had undesirable ancestry. (And annihilate so many groups).

Taliban attitude towards women along with the all-male Catholic priesthood has it's roots in Scripture, and Yahweh's attitude as a general rule.
Once again a half empty cup filled with the wrath of Spiderman. What is the sin of Satan? Satan wanted to elevate himself to the Most High. In one of his incarnations he was a seraph, quite elevated in the heavenly order. But still in his pride he wanted more. Women are part of the heavenly order and are sons of God to be receive with their share of the inheritance. To serve God humbly, do you need to be elevated as per the political correct self worth.

God is so angry, why is he even pro-life? If we stop having babies, he can stop drowning them
like he did when he flooded the earth, or the Angel of death killing the first born of Egypt

The Bible is full of God punishing people with famine and disasters. What's the point in having babies when God is just going to kill countless of them or toss them into a lake of fire for not believing in Jesus??

Who in their right mind wants to spend eternity worshipping a God who is so cruel, narcissistic, and angry, that he irrationally tosses people in a lake of fire for not believing in the Son of man?

The Qur'an repeatedly declares the same punishments for unbelievers, infidels, sorcerers, Idolators, and those who join associates with God (including Christians). Only in that book, the tortures and mutilations are worse and more graphic.
Once again a half empty cup runneth over! You expound the evils of this world and that God is Omnipotent and He bears responsibility. How does one solve the problem of evil in a world of where everyone has free will and consequence? You destroy one side of the argument. Let them choose eternal death or eternal life. That is basically all the bible states - chose life or chose death. Your strawmen arguments belong in magicland where all things are possible for all freewilled persons.

Fortunately, I don't believe the Bible is without error, and it is Biblical that God can change his mind and repent. It's why I post things like this. It's also Theraputic.

Sooo..... Starting from the beginning... IF Jesus is the very will of God who said "I don't do anything I don't see God doing,... and.... I don't say anything unless I hear God saying it"... without any theologian viewpoint, could you find out God's will by looking at his life and what he said?

I don't believe God wants you to suffer. All this pain you are experiencing, isn't it because your own mind is tormenting you? But you are not your mind. Even if it's hard for you to quiet your chattering mind, perhaps if you can learn to detach a little from it, then you will be able to experience a little of the peace I'm sure God wants for you.

As for the Bible, it's a pretty huge compendium of ancient writings. There are some gems in there, but there's plenty of dark, confusing, sinister stuff as you say. So why focus on the dark scary stuff? Why not focus on the light? Like Psalm 23 for example (not the poster, the actual psalm. Though I'm sure the poster wants you to feel peace).

Anyway dude, I pray that God will help you find the peace that is deep within us all.

... but even I dont tell people to worship me, ..

Sorry, I think you don’t know Bible God at all. Please show a scripture from the Bible where God demands worshiping?

The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, doesn't dwell in temples made with hands, neither is he served by men's hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.
Acts 17:24-25

I don't get angry if you use my name in vain,..

Using name in vain means that the name is used without good reason, like for example some kind of filler word. If people around you would use your name randomly, in all sentences, I believe you would get angry quite soon. :D

Thank you so much for praying for me. Please actually do so. ;)

Hey, if you could write a letter to God or your favorite Heavenly being, verbally recite it for me to do his will, be healthy, overcome drug addiction, be obedient to God in all things, be one in mind, heart, and will with God, and be wise and have understanding, that would be terrific. :)

Then if you could place the letter some place special. I had a dream God told me that there is power in the written word. "Once it's written" he said "It's more powerful than being spoken".

I also had a dream Eleanor Rose Naslund was holding a folder. In it were letters I wrote to her murdered daughter.

She pointed to one and said "it made Denise more beautiful". :)

download (67).jpeg

Another dream was a drug addict telling me, "once it's written, it is final, binding".

So I write letters to Kami and place them in a Kamidana cupboard or a Honden (room for enshrined Kami).

It has been a very rewarding experience conquering the world with a pen and paper :p

I'm not only misery. I receive countless signs. I just don't know what to do about it.

You don't have to write the letter. Don't feel pressured. But if you do, long as that letter is in your house, my Spirit and guardian Angel in some way is connected and benefitting from your prayers and good deeds. Lol! :babyangel::innocent:

I know I'm weird, but I do at least thank you for praying for me. Rarely does anyone here say they will pray for me . Bless your heart.

This life is far too short. We can die at any moment. Prayer is so important.

And when two people agree on what they are praying for, Scripture says it will be granted (there are obviously many exceptions to that rule lol :D)

But still, there are ways to make prayer more powerful.

I just pray " Lord God, all Kami, all Heavenly beings, bless and inspire restless soul to be a Spiritual giant, rich in grace, all the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Give him/her the first degrees of power, glory, beautiful soul, perfection, enlightenment, and an eternal joy and maddening euphoria, delight, peace, bliss that lasts for eternity....full of surprises, hysterical laughter, entertainment, amusement and fun that grows each day. FOREVER!!!. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. :innocent::babyangel:

But, most of all, God's will be done. What is best for restless soul, may it be done....as Saint Paul Mcartney said "let it be"

God loves you restless soul , and so does the Heavenly Mother and countless Kami. Do little things with great love.

It made my day knowing you are praying for me .:) . Pray with authority and have confidence. But you don't know how something so little can impact someone when the Spirit of God is moving in that person's heart .

Ask God to inspire your prayers and ask for more faith.

All heavenly beings bless you buddy ol pal! :). ((hugssss))

My profile stats below suggest otherwise. Western society is becoming more
wrathful, bigoted, cruel, narcistic, pulling down statues that many hold sacred,
self medicating, drug addled, adulterous, nihilist and strangely enough,
reverting to the Old Testament with its endless legalisms because all notions
of grace, honesty, compassion and forgiveness are disappearing.

I have read the book front to back.

I know it is harmless in most places.

I do know that it is repeated calls to bigotry and hatred for Idolators over and over and over and OVER again as well.

The verse "Slay the Idolater wherever you see them" is in the Koran. Just google it.

There is a word of love for such people in the Koran as well, but people often use the hate verses to justify killing infidels often even in my lifetime. You can't say, "Well , there is words of love and tolerance in one area of the text, therefore all the hatred and calls to violence canceled out.

Islamic regimes rob countless hundreds of millions of people of basic liberties, often persecuting an entire gender severely.

The verse I provided you was pure hatred. I wasn't taking anything out of context.

Here is from the book as well:

Al-Kahf (The Cave) - 18:29

Say: (It is) the truth from the Lord of you (all). Then whosoever will, let him believe, and whosoever will, let him disbelieve. Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers Fire. Its tent encloseth them. If they ask for showers, they will be showered with water like to molten lead which burneth the faces. Calamitous the drink and ill the resting place! - 18:29

That is pure hatred and barbaric cruelty and bigotry! How is torturing people or amputating their limbs or crucifying them (as I showed you in another post) ever justified or a good thing.

I can see how quickly killing someone under certain circumstances can be a necessary evil. But intentionally torturing and mutilating people, then condemning them to all eternity, is ugly psychopathic hatred to the fullest degree!

quoting the Koran isn't hearsay. It's proof of hatred and torture promoted in the book.

I'm not promoting hatred of anyone. I'm fighting hatred! I showed you basic, blatantly obvious hatred, cruelty, and psychopathic tortures and mutilations in the Koran.

People act out that toxic stuff on people in my lifetime.

I'm not promoting hatred. I'm pointing out obvious hatred buddy. Please get your facts straight.

Cutting off hands and feet and torturing people forever is not okay under any circumstance. It's psychopathic and sick.

I love you firedragon. :) I even respect Islam as a general rule. I cannot respect pure and obvious calls to violence, hatred, and gruesome tortures and humiliations.

I used to pray at a mosque in Buffalo New York. I love Muslims. I love Muhammad (peace be upon him.) I especially love the Prophet's daughter Fatima (Peace be upon her).

I'm even kinda a Shiite Muslim in some ways. I just don't like many of the Prophet's behaviors, policies, and hatred in writing.

But I believe he has repented and is my friend now in Heaven. :greenheart: Arabic is my favorite language in writing, and my favorite Kami that I pray to is Lebanese Arab.

I have had Muslims help me when I was panhandling and homeless. I cannot diss Muslims. But some of the hate in the Koran needs to be renounced as error.

It causes countless people much suffering in the 21st century and Islam needs to grow out of toxic mistakes made when the text was being written.

I'm sorry if it offends you, but I care too much about the victims of such atrocities.:brokenheart:.

Muhammad (peace be upon him) was an orphan. His parents both died when he was so young. He had nobody.

He rose to become one of the most influential humans to walk the planet being an illiterate orphan. That is incredible and worthy of respect. I love the man. But sometimes when people or pets are unloved or orphans , they can have violent tendancies.

I see it in jail and psyche wards all the time. I love the Prophet as a person. I just don't like some of his decisions.

I do love much of the Qur'an. I love Muslim prayer beads, prayer carpets, and Islamic art.

I like Kufis and even like hijab. I just don't think they should be required. I think God isn't so angry that we have to wash and pray to him on our face.

But there is a time and place for that too. :)
