I have a headache

Staff at group home brought me to place to get food. Loud. Very loud. Did not warn me we were going in. I did not bring earmuffs. Almost had meltdown. Might not be online for a little. I hate it when stuff like this happens.

I'm autistic. Sound can be painful.
I hate places that are noisy, especially with voices.
It's very disconcerting.
And I'm normal....well, that could be argued.
But I'm not autistic.

You take care.
Oh, I carry little foam earplugs.
They help a lot.
And left in a pocket, they get laundered.
Useful to you?

How were they not aware of sensory overload for you? It’s not like they couldn’t have prepared you.....hope this sends a message for next time....feel better soon.

I didn't bring my earmuffs cuz I thought I'd be staying in the car. No one told me I'd be getting out.
