6 experts give a letter grade on Biden-Harris administration's handling of immigration thus far

Dunce and Duncer.

Me, I give an A+ for failure. So they do pass at least for something they do very well.

Congratulations!

Two D, two F, two B and one N/A but qualified as "very well". The most common criticism seems to be not cancelling the title 42 and refusing to impose a moratorium on deportations of immigrants. I would tend to agree that title 42, "remain in Mexico" and a moratorium on deportation would all be good measures.

As Trumpian, Conservative, and Republican as they seem, I'm surprised you don't like it.
The stop in El Paso, Texas, came three weeks after [Harris] visited Guatemala on her first foreign trip and told migrants "do not come" to the US.
Rios told Insider a "good percentage" of his low grade was because of the administration's retainment of Title 42, the Trump-era pandemic-related emergency rule used to rapidly turn away migrants with the exception of unaccompanied minors. Policy experts have said it played a massive role in the increased number of children crossing the border earlier this year.

The monthslong continuation of Title 42 has surprised many immigration advocates, who expected the administration to reopen the pathway for asylum seekers.

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
i give them an F

they should eliminate all borders and immigration laws

let anyone come

the average quality of humanity in the country could only improve
You know if only we could.

I still remember back when you could go into Canada with only your driver license in hand.

A regular ordinary drivers license. No endorsement, no enhancement. Only the occasional, once in awhile, random check with Border authorities to go inside and then cleared to enter.

Same with Canadians going into the US.

It makes me wonder if we will ever see something like that again.

You supported Trump for four years, and now you expect us to believe that you have standards all of the sudden?

It's like trusting a coprophagist to be a reliable food critic.
If ya noticed, I supported a stick of dynamite for four years.

I actually went to Canada with my best friend summer after high school.

In his old Chevrolet.

in 1970. I don’t think either of us realized that it might appear we were evading the draft.

I remember the only question was, how much money we had.

We checked our wallets and came up with around $20.

he waved us through, and we spent 5 days there, and then returned home.

had a great time, sleeping in the car and eating sardines.

I can’t remember much of anything happening upon returning to the US.
