For some, it wouldn't have mattered.....pneumonia caused by any other virus would have done the same thing. A large percentage of the elderly succumb to bacterial and viral pneumonia every year. I really do see the numbers as over inflated because of this. We also know that India's extraordinary death rate from Covid was caused by a shortage of oxygen.....which is the first line treatment for any serious lung infection.

A lot of people die from cancer every year.

If John Doe was was told yesterday he will die from cancer in two weeks. If someone shot and killed him today, did cancer kill him?

I see suppression of any fact that might sway opinions against the current treatment and prevention of this disease. Its like they have funded this committment and by George, they are going to put those jabs in as many arms as they possibly can. When the A-Z presented with blood clotting problems, people became wary and withdrew from taking it. But waiting for the mRNA vaccines was going to take time because Australia did not jump on the bandwagon soon enough to secure the doses as some other countries did. So they tried flogging it off to people of different age groups. When that didn't work they flogged it off to third word nations....supposedly being altruistic. I don't think they have a clue about what they are doing. How can you trust them?

If, as I mentioned, Ivermectin does everything the vaccine is supposed to do with less risk, then why is it at least not offered? If the studies overseas have confirmed its efficacy and its preventative effects on this SARS virus.....the only thing standing in its way is profit for the big boys.....and a media paid to do as its told. This is the sad and sorry world we live in.
I can agree that the government stuffed us. And I know it looks like they’re trying to get everyone to get AstraZeneca but that’s the fault of the old capitalist principle of “supply and demand.” We don’t have the supply to meet demand and it is only after consulting with your GP can you of your own violation to choose which one you’re gonna go for. That’s between you and your doctor, I suppose. I think the recommendations was more out of over precaution. Better safe than sorry and all that.
There were blood clot concerns that came to light. Adverse reactions will happen for literally anything from Panadol to sugar.
But given that it is still a rare phenomenon there is a certain leeway for recommendations to change if circumstances force their hand. Which it certainly has in Sydney right now.
I probably will wait for Pfizer, since I’m a Queenslander. So we’re at a better place right now.
But this reluctance is also prolonging this latest outbreak. So can you really blame the tension coming from that?

Covid caused the greater need for oxygen.

We could also say "we also know that the world's extraordinary death rate from Covid was caused by a shortage of medicine to treat it.....which is the first line treatment for any serious lung/viral infection."

Either way the people died from a shortage of something that covid increased the demand on.

At least it was quicker....with two weeks less suffering....:p Perhaps he should have asked the gunman to do that a few months prior? But assisted suicide is a whole nother story.....

Covid caused the greater need for oxygen.
And death was caused by a shortage of oxygen. The black market cleaned up....leeches!

Surprisingly they say that there is little that medical science can do to combat viruses. They can only be overcome by our own immune system. Though some things may help to bolster it. So those who have had covid and recovered, did so because they had developed enough antibodies to conquer the virus. But saying that those who have had the virus should get vaccinated makes no sense to me. Those antibodies are there in your blood stream for life. Its a closed system, so how would they escape or become inactivated? Both my daughter and granddaughter contracted whooping cough despite being vaccinated for it. Natural immunity requires no "booster" shots, so why does artificial immunization need one?

Is there a difference between immunization and vaccination?

Trump actually attracted a lot of attention to the antiviral drug Remdesivir when he contracted C19. He recovered very well.....I wonder if he got vaccinated?

I never took much of what Trump said seriously. He also went on about how great
hydroxychloroquine was. Besides being an anti-parasite, its also an immunosuppressive drug.
