'At yesterday’s event, a man leading chanting through a megaphone asked the crowd: “We know who is behind this whole ‘plandemic’ and who rules the world, right?” In response, someone shouted “Jews”, and the man replied, “Of course it’s the Jews”.

The crowd then chanted together: “Every Pole can see today that behind the ‘plandemic’ are the Jews” (Dzisiaj każdy Polak widzi, że za plandemią stoją Żydzi).'

Looks like some of the far-right in Poland are scapegoating the Jews for coranavirus completely in the face of contrary scientific evidence.

There's a Christian message board that I used to belong to and now lurk in that peddles this sort of anti-Semitism. That sort of thing has a very sordid history in Christianity.

I don't want to get too into the weeds on their ugly hatred, but they make sure to distinguish between what they call "Zionist Jews" (the ones who are behind every conspiracy) and "true Jews" (the ones of Jesus' faith). It's no different than racists who try and say "I'm not talking about all blacks, just the [insert racial epithet]".

Is there someone who can explain to me what the difference is between an irrational fear the Jews are taking over the world and say for example a paranoid delusion?

I suppose it would take a psychiatrist to answer my question but I can't help but wonder

Within Catholicism and Reformed churches there has been a history of anti-Semitism, not Evangelical Christianity.

I should add that those who believe in replacement theology or Christian Identity are usually anti-Semitic, too.
