The Science of Linguistics Confirms the Book of Mormon Authenticity

Interestingly, some of the English wording in the Book of Mormon is word for word identical to certain passages of the KJV of the Bible, and includes the same mistakes. So much for an inspired, God-driven “translation.”
I didn't know that. Do you have some examples handy? They'd be illuminating.

For sure!

It goes hand in hand with my previous comment.

Is it interesting that a single word usage, like 'Sheum", may or may not have an origin in older and deeper languages? Sure! How did it get there? Where did he hear it? What did it mean? What's it actually referring to? Maybe it's evidence that the Book of Mormon was truly divinely inspired! ...Or, maybe our writer just got lucky and carried on a word that was more common among the Biblical vernacular than we are giving it credit for...

If we're going to pretend like this one instance of possibly getting something right is evidence for angelic interference and/or divine inspiration, we've also got to look at the dozens of other instances where that same angelic interference or divine inspiration conveniently chose to leave in errors and inaccuracies from more available and contemporaneous source material...
