What Do You Like About The Devil?

My time in the city is proving interesting, to say the least. There is a recent acquaintance who I like. One morning he asked what I liked most about the devil, and I told him that I wasn't a student of the Bible. The truth is my understanding of the devil is that he hates you, with a passion, which can be seen by looking in the mirror and seeing what he has made you do to what was once your beautiful body.

Tattoos are quite the thing in the city, and people go over the top with them. I imagine eventually I will see someone sporting the golden arches and Nike emblems.

This city is very liberal. I look around me and see a lot of miserable people. It is recouping from rioting. Having lived here most my life, I have watched it fall from its former glory into a mess. I feel I share some responsibility. We have always been laidback, but in our good nature we might have opened the door and let the devil inside.

The devil is the much maligned good guy. The riots were down to people

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
*The devil is noted for honesty in folklore.

*The Bible's God paints a picture where the devil just wanted to get as far away as possible from the bloodthirsty tyrant.

*The devil is so likable that God still hangs out once in awhile and makes barroom bets on whom likes him the most. Like Job. Probably over a couple of beers.

*While Job seems to stick with God at the end, it's made apparent Jobs orginal family that they would clearly go with the devil considering the loser had dumped them for another floosy and higher property values.

*The Devil lives in Georgia.

I don't think riots happen because people are being too soft on the angry and the destitute.
Usually, the opposite is the case.

The Devil has all the best songs

Bob the builder can we fix this? :):D
So many times it appears that everyone thinks the devil much maligned. I prefer to believe God is loving and wants to save us whilst Satan has done everything he can to stop Gods will being done. Satan, appears to be self-centred he cannot take Gods place so he will take second best by hurting those God loves.

Much of the male dominated planet is against the Devil for a reason. Their religions and philosophies fear feminine beauty, intelligence and strength (altogether at once), delegating feminity to only objectification and inferiority. The Devil doesn't mind being viewed in the feminine unlike the dying gods of self-righteous machismo.

In my religion... Satan is God’s most powerful creation, and His greatest champion. Satan is viewed as loyal to God and only God.

Satan tests us, tempts us, and stands in our way within each of our hearts as an obstacle meant to be overcome. Satan reveals who is truly devoted to God and who is not, as a loyal but fearsome and terrifying draconic angel.

That's better than the other guys' interpretation. Thanks.
