Will Trump end up in jail?

Well? What are the chances?

There's a very slight chance of it, but let's be honest, there are two legal systems in the U.S., and one is only for those who can afford it. For them, the crime would have to be so great or so egregious that one couldn't buy one's way out -- things like murder and mayhem. Trump is being investigated for financial crimes, and the rich don't go to jail for that.

I opted for a 10% chance because sometimes tax evasion will get one to Riker's. It worked for Capone.

Bear in mind, Trump pardoned a bunch of his rich business friends who ended up in prison because of financial crimes. https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli...6f0b52-624b-11eb-9430-e7c77b5b0297_story.html

I do not believe Donald the Orange will receive a presidential pardon himself, unless it's another corrupt Republican in the Oval Office in the future, God forbid. I'm imagining justice, and Orange in orange. May he enjoy many years behind bars, with not a shred of hope for early release.

He is White, wealthy and has a strong political following. The worst he would ever see is a couple months in Club Fed after having ratted out every single one of his cronies.

The US reserves the horrors of its prison complex for poor people and whistleblowers standing up against its military atrocities.

I think if you're that wealthy and influential, you probably become something more abstract, in a sense, than an individual. The people under that umbrella are the sublimated nexii, while the initial gaseous ideogenous mover no longer retains center state. So who is Trump? Who is anyone who has downloaded themselves in the subconscious of a society? If A.I. is going to be able to do all that it's cracked up to do, it will be able to print the moving image and speech of any figure, anywhere, forever. Some human named trump might go to jail, but the idea is impressed into databases that could span a eon

Probably not. Though guilty as Hell he will either find someone to throw under the bus, or just one Trumpette getting through the jury selection process will vote Not Guilty regardless of the evidence provided.
Is unanimous always required; never a majority verdict?
