Hi and welcome to the forum. :)
Nobody knows what it will be like leaving the flesh body and getting a new spiritual body. In fact nobody knows the nature if the afterlife, which I refer to as the spiritual world. Everyone has different beliefs about the soul and the afterlife, but I am going to post a short video which explains what I believe.

First of all, what spiritual path do you want to travel? Or are you undecided?

Do you believe in the God of the Bible? Or are there other aspects of the spiritual realm that have captured your curiosity?

Your questions are valid and the Bible can answer all of them....but it may not be what you what you want to hear.....?
In my own case, the Bible was life changing for me, but it isn’t for everyone. Consider all viewpoints and you will know what strikes a chord.

Start a thread with each question, like the one you mentioned above, just one or two at a time and see what feedback you get.....evaluate the answers....take your time. Don’t be impatient. ;)

From my understanding suicide also leaves the work of the life unfinished and so the person feels the pain of that unfinished work strongly as well.

We all have different ideas about the answer to your question.

My answer comes from Meher Baba The goal of life is to be united with God through love. From a discourse:

The sojourn of the soul is a thrilling divine romance in which the lover, who in the beginning is conscious of nothing but emptiness, frustration, superficiality and the gnawing chains of bondage, gradually attains an increasingly fuller and freer expression of love, and ultimately disappears and merges in the divine Beloved to realise the unity of the Lover and the Beloved in the supreme and eternal fact of God as Infinite Love.

I kept it simple for a reason, but yes, I agree. It also is a no-gainer as you just come back to the same place anyway to finish off what you started.

In my opinion, I think it may be a good start to write down your spiritual experiences (things that changed your worldview, enhanced your morals, and things you care about), core values (what's important to you that won't budge on), and even your definition of life and death.

Maybe try it the other way around. Build up what you already know so when you read books, you're agreeing with those that match your experiences not just your interests.

As for type of books, I don't know. I haven't looked into esoteric books or anything like that. Mostly books on ancestral veneration, personal testimonies and stories on how people got to know their families, and people's diaries and things like that-because they are closer to my experiences.

Ah, so many questions right at the beginning! However, welcome to the forum. Relax. You will have to get your own answers. And are all answers there in the books? Do you think my answers will work for you?
I am a strong atheist. I do not believe in God, spirit or soul, or a consciousness which transcends death.
Who leaves? There is no leaving. The identity disintegrates.
Suicide? Why? You won't get life again. Try to make this worthwhile.
Knowledge, emlightenment does not make any difference. Only that your questions are answered. Otherwise, life goes on, and as the Zen master said "you need to sweep the floor and get water".
Occult, mystery! Yeah, we all make the mistake in the beginning.
IMHO, Buddha said all that was to be said about reincarnation. You reincarnate every second. You cannot put your feet in the same river again. Things change all the time.

My usual habits are a bit changed and I became lazy
I wanted to know how is going to be end? Im thinking about my next 6 months with this way of life

Long short story

Im a musician by nature
I started to do music production when i was 12
Im still on the way and working on it.
I diagnosed with a epilepsy at the month of 3
(family told me that now)

I was on some toxic medicines until age of12 that my epilepsy gets better but at the age of 17 i was diagnosed with another shape of the epilepsy.
Which it was triggered by mental traumas and my ignorance pov that i mentioned. And whole seeking enlightenment things started from that point.
That i was loosing any sense of connection to any reality.!
That was nice 7 years of all pain and hospitalizations episodes and my mom nursing me.
That leads me to detox from all of the big pharmaceutical experimental mouse...

I got in the battle with the epilepsy and series of mental illness at the same time with consciousness expanding experiences
Meditation
Reading
Psychedelic experiences

For now my epilepsy is gone for good and thats not the point of my post anyway
But
It was an eye opening experience for me really in a negative karmic way

I want to know
If im doing the same mistakes i did in a previous birth before this one im now

How and what will happens to me when i complete this birth?
Honestly i know that where i was in my previous life
For thislife i got an life in a 5th world ****hole
With low quality of everything.
I don't have and can't wait to get any migration dreams to get fulfilled
System does not let me get out my trash country for good

So i count it as a bad karma that needs to hurt me
Anyway
Im really bothering and trying do something with my life but im a 23 old stay home son
Unemployed by my will
(i will not be another brick in the wall)
Still sitting and waiting for someone to charge my credit card for living
I stopped my music practices for nearly a 2months
All i do is sleeping and reading occult books
Im planning to this for next decade of my life
Until i get some where else as a refuge
Cause i don't care about anything i mean anything except me and my flirting occult e-book library ive collected

You're a carbon copy of me. I have epilepsy and had it near twenty some odd years-brain surgery and VNS (if you ask your doc this may help) and all. I still have the small seizures but the big ones are gone unless I skip my meds. I used to have a passion for writing and trying to take up that interest again.

I can understand trying to find where you're going in life. I'd say go back into music. Incorporate music into your religious practices. Do you have religious experiences involving the occult?

Medicalweed just mede me 0 seizures actually
After maybe few years im taking it.

Honestly im not religious.
But im try to receive as much as any channel.
But im interested in Jewish Mysticism these days
And im currently reading qabbalistic texts..
And a little of left hand path

Actually music was really a meditational for me. ️
Still is the problem here is with a bit with my memory that i have to relearn everything due to epileptic experiences and memory loss.
But im getting better day by day as i go forward with my readings... Anyway

I do understand that. Mine is more processing issues. Once it's in my head it sticks. It just needs to get there.

Isolated Hyperreligiosity in a Patient with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy

Here's something interesting. I have right temporal lobe epilepsy and it says that some people have hyperreligiousity. I'm not sure how religious obsession relates to seizures.

I think you'll find what you're looking for but I'd start with your experiences and work from there.

the temporal lobe with processing issues too

no religious feelings at all
But i experienced kind of forced enlightenment with
Some of shamanic visions about the future
I was saw the global forced pandemic in 2015...
Thats was weird to see it happen

Douglas Adams is one of my favourite philosophers. He has a ways to express profound truths without being condescending. In fact, he can make it sound like a joke and you only realize the depth of his thoughts when you think about them.
I realized it right after the first chapter, dealing with the human condition:

"Far out in the uncharted backwaters of the unfashionable end of the Western spiral arm of the galaxy lies a small unregarded yellow sun.
