People ask me all the time do you believe Jesus is the only way to be saved?Why doesn't that kind of thing work in other religions?What should I say the next time somebody asks me this?

What is the issue with answering the question with the truth?
I mean, if you do not have a problem with giving an honest answer, why would you need to ask?

Were the people of the other covenants saved?
Who is Jesus? If he is the Messiah then isn't he the way for all to be saved, don't the gentiles now become acceptable through this covenant God has made? If you do not know the answer how do you expect others to tell you? Some good answers about Truth on this page. Is it Truth that makes you want to answer?
Do you? It’s a yes or no question. I admit I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, so am I missing something?

Because other religions don’t have the same concept of salvation Christianity has. As a Hindu I’d say no, I don’t believe in the need to be saved in the first place.
So, I’m not understanding the issue.
