Culture vs. Islam

Outstanding work. I feel that it's often hard for Westerners to understand Islam properly because we are spoiled by the luxury of compartmentalization while in the Middle East Islam is embedded in everything and it's hard to examine for its' own virtues without the cultural baggage.

Good point.
It's amazing once you start to study the Quran you realise how much 'culture' is enforced on you in the package of religion.

I just love the way this brother introduce islam to muslims and non-muslims alike with a truthful and good intention heart and he converted to Islam since few years i guess as he mentioned in one of his videos. I'm still watching them till now and i didn't finished all of them yet and i'm looking for more.

I used to ignore such videos because it takes time to watch and some of it might be boring but definitely i found the one i was looking for finally. :D

Please enjoy watching it all. This dude is really funny heheheheh but at the same time he is so serious and accurate in the way he present Islam.

Please don't miss any of his videos.

Thanks for all of you for passing by and watch that with me. :)

That was very true to life statements made in a little over 6 minutes. Pretty cool. Now if only we could get a whole bunch of people to understand Islam like we do, it would go a long way for the good of many.

He inspires me to want to be a better Muslim, if you can understand that. It's like the Imams in Britain who are trying to fight back against the radical element within the community there - with very strong words. They showed one Imam on CNN saying, "Don't let these people fool you. They want to kill children, and women. This is not an ideology, it's a mental illness!"

It just gives me hope - it helps to know there are some others out there who feel the same way you do.

Wow I couldn't agree more with what that guy was saying! So many parents I know just manipulate their kids. When those kids become teenagers they start to see through it. Then they rebel. The parents are mad because they don't want to lose control and they don't want their children to make them look bad. This just makes the kids resent them more. It's too bad.

And the thing about Muslims mixing their culture with their religion. It really bothers me. I know I'm not one to talk but I am sick of all the ignorance people have about Islam. It is such a good religion but many people associate bad things with it that have absolutely nothing to do with it. Even though people should know better, it would help if people didn't do crazy things in the name of Islam. And don't get me wrong, I know Christians are just as bad as anyone if not worse when it comes to doing things in the name of religion. Well thanks for the video. I wish more people would take the time to learn what Islam really is.
