And to point out how far off base you are, I was sharing personal dealings with the same mentality and self defeating thoughts like the OP is dealing with. That's not "preaching atheism."

You can always ask any staff member. .. you will see who is staff, by their profile, and they can give you some pointers.
For example, you can just do something like... @Rival and you can follow that with your question.

You should get a response, but I understand that there was an adjustment with the religious DIRs, so that if you are Catholic, you can post in the Catholic DIR, and so on, but I, a JW, would not be able to post in that DIR.

Do you think Exorcism is necessary for you? If you make an effort to "clean house" that is remove items from your home, that may be connected to spiritism, and disassociate yourself from anything to do with those practices, and earnestly ask God for his help, don't you think you can be free?

A healthy diet and vitamin intake helps. Peaceful meditations. Loving caring humanity. Believing that you are an extremely strong spirit family member. By knowledge we are loved.

Love your strength. And try your best choices. If not successful seek medical help as they can re balance your imbalanced brain chemistry also and block out the voice.

I'd just add regular exercise to the healthy diet and vitamin intake. Doing those few things, that can be very easy and simple steps to take, can go very far in our mental health. And any mental health professional worth the ink their degree is printed on will encourage these things, and there are tremendous amounts of studies and evidence to back the claim it does a lot of to help us physically and mentally.
It won't solve or help everything and anything, but that should be our first line approach for optimal health.

Definitely. We are what we eat, and our body--our temple--can only be as good as we let it. Diet, nutrition, and exercise are essential for a healthy mind and body. And tragically it's just not universally accepted that the healthier the body the healthier the mind, and the healthier the mind the healthier the body. Of course it can only go so far, and stuff happens, but for people healthy and ill the wise thing is to mind your diet, nutrition, and exercise. Chronic pain, depression, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high blood sugar, anxiety, those three simple steps help with all that and more and lay a solid foundation for working on improving ailments and conditions that may need further intervention (and if it needs surgery, your surgeon will pleased if you regularly exercise and have well used muscles because it makes you a better candidate and your recovery will very likely be much easier).
This is so important it's incredible anyone ignores it or downplays it. Religious or otherwise, this one is crucial.

I can't see a premise for a comparison there. It's just sad that you might actualy tell someone you're neutral and believe in it. At least be honest. As soon as a person expresses dislike of religion they can no longer claim neutrality.

Yes, do be honest about your false claims against me. Go ahead! Admit it!
I have never denied being an anti-Christ or pretended otherwise. I don't pretend any love for the Abrahamic religions or their blood thirsty god. But these Abrahamics are so self-centered thinking everything revolves around them they assume that any criticism against their religion means religion as whole and entirely. Very commonly they are so flippant in this they assume anyone who offers these criticisms is an atheist (typically incorrectly).
So now it's your time for honesty. I made no remarks hostile or accusatory towards any religion, but you jumped in with others to try to take a cheap shot at me when I am trying discuss self defeating thoughts with someone. You jumped on a bandwagon so eager and willing to attack my statements were even misrepresented.
So lets hear it. At least be honest.

Did the shadow try to harm you?

This is no pun. This made me think of Six Sense Movie:

My mother sees shadows (or spirits) all the time practically daily. She talks to them and sometimes just laugh and more curious about what she sees. She tells me about her co-workers and how they reacted to the same thing. One time she and her friend saw a spirit coming towards them in the car. I was in the backseat and missed it. Sometimes I feel things or so have you, but honestly, I don't believe they are there to harm you.

With that in mind, you can pray for solace but I don't think you're crazy.

Maybe, if they are spirits (not sure what shadows are in this context) listen to them.

Hello Ruthexex,

Guilt... is the hardest moral throw back to deal with.
God has forgiven you your past and now the devil has to let go. Truth is the way forward and release from your past.
The word says that God does not remember your sins when forgiven.
Jeremiah 31:34
No longer will each man teach his neighbor or his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD,' because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest, declares the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquities and will remember their sins no more."

God has forgotten the backsliding and all the things you remember are your old life. In Christ you are a new creation but Satan would have you believe he is powerful enough to alter the new way you are secure in Christ.

Jesus said:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

God does not hate you and as for Satan he no longer has any hold over you. Your free because God has set you free. Yes I do understand these things and how dreadful and menacing they can be. Talk to your priest, vicar or pastor, they will help you and stand on the word of God. Take your authority over these things and tell the voice/satan to leave you alone in the name of Jesus.
16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:


17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Get into the word and ask God to open your mind to scripture and stand firm in your knowledge of truth. Evil has no dominion over you and God not only forgave you, your sin and wiped it away he no longer remembers them. You are not the only believer to witness these things. But God will bring you through them.
