Revelation 2.0

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Why is everybody making this about books? Petty. Did you not see what I wrote at the end my post? I guess they don’t have anything better to say.
So lets speak about outside of any books since you seem to have left the OP and want to take it one step deeper then what books say :)

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
Did you get any answers regarding the mysteries of our existence just by livin?
Well i have some ideas and beliefs from religion of course, but i spoken to many wise people who given bits of their idea and understanding of our existance. But do i have a definitive answer yet? No i do not, and that is ok to me.
It is a part of the journey through life to be able to pick of wisdom along the way, then after some time one can form a picture of what seem to be the closest to the understanding one holds at current time in life. But the understanding and or belief will change the more we both seek wisdom from others but also by seeking from within our own being.

Spirit of Light

Be who ever you want
I found that wise people speak in Riddles. Rghtly so. they cant appear too crazy
Often the wise people speak in a way that you as the listner have to think for you self and ponder about what it means. they do it to awaken you to the hidden wisdom they them self often have.

I didn’t mean to offend and crush the hearts of those who love and adore books
Lol

I hate to disclose to you that its an impossibility with such unsophisticated rhetoric mate. :) Maybe if you had made a valid argument with proper references or at least some effort then it might at least invite some thought.

Am I suppose believe that infinity, in all its cosmic glory, which I label as God, handed us all the secrets of our existence in a nice and neatly little wrapped book written by men?. If that were so I’d have to say that I wasn’t impressed with God. I’d probably turn atheist at that point. I think God is more than capable and easily equipped to deliver things that, by their very nature, are lacking in evidence. Furthermore, God is capable of revealing how these things came about.

Never found hidden gems in a book.
Books are a good start though.
In other words, we know all about God?
When I think of it, when we say God is this and God is that, and God would do this, or God would do that, my question is 'How do you know that? Who told you?"
I think the only answer I have ever got to those questions is, 'We can know for ourselves, or search witin'... and they might add, 'God is inside all of us.'

So basically every man decides for himself what God is, and what God does.
Surely, that would drive me, and I think everyone to be an Atheist.

However, with a book, and not just any book, but recorded information - letters, written by men personally chosen by God to communicate his messages.
That makes a whole lot of sance to me.

What is more, if this book is unique, powerful, and much more than the norm, that is convincing evidence of those letters being trustworthy, thus cementing my faith in God.
I thhink what drives most to Atheism. is the rules in a book, which they would rather not follow. Pride is at the helm.

Where does it say that God handed us all the secrets of our existence in a nice and neatly wrapped book?

I think a God who could create a universe as big as ours doesn't even know we little microbes are here mixed in with all the trillions of planets in the hundreds of billions of galaxies out there.
