I look at the screen and think of it as a window.
For example, Religiousforums.com is a house.
The screen is a window into said house.
Each of the forums and sub-forums are rooms.
Each member is also looking through their window (screen) into the house.

My wife says she sees it like a security system.
Each website is its own security camera that allows her to see what is there.
She said a bunch oof other stuff, but I lost track when the cat came into the room.....
