and goodnight
What is a good night? Is a night good when the weather is fair? Is a night good when it's peaceful and quiet? Must there nocturnal critters and bugs making their sounds for it to be good? Does it have to be a fully relaxing night, or does ok-enough work? Do you need all 8 hours of sleep, or is 5 good enough? Or is it reserved for 10?

5 hours for me but i had a sunday lie in and had almost 5 1/2.

The weather is foul, just got over an arctic freeze and now its been raining for 2 days. But that hasn't disturbed my slumber.

And interestingly i am just listening to Sabbath Behind the wall of sleep

"It is a sad thing, observed Victor Hugo, to think that nature speaks and that mankind does not listen to it. "

I give you back what is yours.

Who throws so much garbage into the ocean?
We all throw some and it adds up. I found out recently that just because a bit of plastic has a recycling triangle on it does not mean that the plastic is recyclable. Most are not. My local trash company does not want people to put everything with a triangle in the recycling bin. Most of it is supposed to go into the trash for landfill.

The plastics industry is responsible for this mislabling.

I suspect its a few people in charge of the garbage that are screwing the rest of us.

i lived on the coast for a while thinking it would be a good idea. The two things that changed my mind were atlantic gales and people dropping their garbage on the beach

Sylvester Stallone has reportedly become a member of Trump's Mar-a-Lago club

  • Sylvester Stallone has joined the Mar-a-Lago club, according to Page Six.
  • The Florida resort is owned by former President Donald Trump and costs $200,000 to join.
  • Stallone moved nearby to Mar-a-Lago at the end of last year.
  • Visit Insider's homepage for more stories.
Sylvester Stallone has joined former President Donald Trump's private members' club, several sources told Page Six.

The "Rocky" and "Rambo" star has been spotted posing for photos with guests at the Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida, Page Six said.

"Sly just became a member of Mar-a-Lago," confirmed a source who saw the 74-year-old actor at the luxury Palm Beach resort.

It costs $200,000 to join the club.

The actor bought a $35 million Palm Beach estate in December, Palm Beach Daily News said.

Stallone is no stranger to the club. He was invited to the Trump-owned resort for a New Year's Eve gala in 2016, The Palm Beach Post reported.

Joining Mar-a-Lago isn't cheap. The initiation fee for new members is $200,000, Insider previously reported.

A 400-person banquet that took place at Mar-a-Lago on Saturday night also came with a hefty price tag. Republican donors forked out around $100,000 to dine at the club, according to The Washington Post.

During that dinner, Trump reportedly spent several minutes insulting Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell and asked for the COVID-19 vaccine to be referred to as the "Trumpcine."

So, he wants to call the COVID-19 vaccine the "Trumpcine."
