You need a cat, much more impressive gifts of dead mice, birds, lizards and snakes.
And sometimes as a special treat, not dead
We had a kitty a long time ago that was not the smartest on the block but boy could she hunt. We were given crickets (two that she let go and watched hop away) as well as a live bird one day. We had lots of fun shooing it out.
We had another dynamite hunter who ate his catch in the bathtub but never did learn how to clean the tub afterwards. He had staff for that job.
Snoopy was a good dog but no longer a winner.
