There's a real race between the numbers of people infected etc going up pretty quickly in some areas and vaccination rates.

Part of that is we don't have good science about vaccinated people being able to spread the virus even if they don't have symptoms.

I would guess that the bigger problem is the fact that Californians and rules don't get along very well.

Then again I live in a college town in California, so I may be a bit jaded.
You can get hairy knuckles by quoting your own post.
I was just informed yesterday (by a guy who heard if
from a guy) that the vaccine changes your DNA.
I suggested checking better sources, eg, Mayo Clinic,
CDC. He said they flip flop. Better to trust some guy
he knows who has some job at a hospital.

More incompetent NYT reporting. It states in the article “ Alaska, Mississippi, Utah and West Virginia are the only states where all adults are now eligible to receive shots,” and in the same article it shows in the graph that those states plus Arizona offer it to all adults.

Anyways, most states, according to projections, will offer the vaccine to all adults by mid-April.

Which states were vaccinating all adults before March 25?

And I mean states, not counties.
You do know that counties are not states, right?

I read something similar to this on a bathroom wall in a gas station yesterday. I'm going back today to see if there are any updates.

Arizona was offering the vaccine to everyone over 16 starting March 22. The NYT article even includes it on its graph as one of the states that did. But in the text of the article the NYT forgot it. The NYT screwed up in this article. Sorry if that isn’t to your likings.

You really should let the state of Arizona know this

Most vaccine appointments at state sites booked for the next week

Perhaps the state is unaware they are already letting 16 year olds get vaccinated statewide and forgot?
Perhaps they state wide availability does not start April second...

Of course, since a few counties in the state are are...

Again, you do know the difference between counties and states, right?

The State of Arizona has opened eligibility to all persons of 16. Just as I wrote. Arizona Expands COVID-19 Vaccination Eligibility To All
The NYT got it wrong. But even if it were true that Arizona was not open for all adults to get the vaccine, the NYT would still be wrong. That is because in one part of its article it says Arizona is not open to all adults (in the text) but in another part of the article (the graph) it says Arizona is open to all adults. The NYT article contradicts itself.

You do understand both can’t be true at the same time, right?
