I would like to post this thread about this topic. I hope Muslims and non-Muslims here find it beneficial and informative.

The points I will mention have a background of many verses in the holy Quran and some Traditions “hadiths” of the prophet peace be upon him.

Let’s start:

Important Introduction:

First I kindly note that this topic has relation to another thread I posted before, so I recommend reading it before proceeding with this thread:

The Free Will Question., And How Islamic Philosophy views this issue

We also need to understand a very important concept, which is:

On what criteria does God Almighty decide the Duration and life span of any human in this earthly life?, whether he/she dies young or old or in between.

Because this is a very important factor in specifying the decision to get to hell or heaven.

The point is that the purpose of this earthly life is to confirm our True selves, and thus any hardships or Test that God Almighty puts in front of the person is a Test for this person to Grow forwards increasing towards Goodness and love for God.

Thus the life span of the person ends the moment he/she reaches his/her full potential in goodness growth.

Using the same concept, if the person is evil, his/her life span ends the moment he reaches his full potential in backward growth towards Evil, Hatred towards God, and sins.

Again using the same concept, Children who die in their childhood, their forward growth to confirm their true selves does Not need a full grown-up test, they are special cases since they will surely go the heaven in the hereafter, and probably will stay in it as children eternally in enjoyment.

The point is that your life ends once you reach your full true potential and your true self is fully confirmed.

In relation to this I recommend watching this speech by Dr. Jeffery Lang, I put its link as reference. It has a background of many Verses in the holy Qur’an:

In the next post we will get to the Point of Heaven & Hell.

***continued in the next post.

Now we Get to Heaven & Hell:

1- Heaven’s description:

Heaven is a place for eternal rewarding for the good, pious, God loving persons, where they will enjoy with their families the feeling of blessing, happiness, peace of mind, and comfort. There is No Boredom in heaven, so they will never feel bored, tired, or sad.

They also will be eternally young at the age of 33 for men and women. With the exception of Children, who will probably stay as children in Heaven as mentioned.

Heaven in size is bigger than the size of the universe, so each family will have a huge real-estate property to enjoy in. With Gardens, Palaces, Seas, etc.

Persons in heaven will enjoy the feeling of gratefulness towards God Almighty, and they will thank Him frequently with happiness and joy.

There are many degrees in heaven, with varying levels of enjoyments. And what decides your degree is the amount and quality of your good deeds in this earthly life and the amount of your heart love towards God Almighty.

If a person of your family deservers a lesser degree in heaven than you, he will be elevated towards your degree so as to enjoy the best possible degree of enjoyment in heaven eternally together.

All persons in heaven will never feel any need to get out of it. They will enjoy it eternally with No end.

Romantic love in heaven between you and your wife will be the best, together you’ll never feel or act in any irritation, anxiety or bad arguments. You and she will enjoy love at the most honorable, comforting, and heartwarming that can be. And the sexual relationship will be the best that can be.

Food in heaven will be the best, with some similarities in shape to earthly food but much better in taste. And there will be no need to use toilets, since the digestive system will be totally different eliminating the need of toilets.

Any enjoyment you want in heaven will be granted to you.

There will be new types of enjoyments regularly in heaven that can never be imagined.

2- How to enter Heaven:

To enter heaven directly in the Day of Judgment you should possess 2 kinds of good deeds with the condition that they exceed in Quality and Quantity your bad deeds:

a. Heart deeds: which include: Love and belief in God Almighty as the One and Only God – Thankfulness towards God with full contentment of His blessings and hardships He decided for you in this earthly life– A heart With No hateful Envy towards any person – A heart full of love, care, and good wishes to all humanity.

b. Actual Deeds: which includes: Prayer, fasting, etc. – Care for your parents, spouse, children and relatives - Hard work to support yourself and your family and have extra income to donate to charity with an attitude to strive for perfection to make the world a better place - voluntary activities to help who is in need, etc.

If your good deeds are Not enough for you to enter Heaven directly because your bad deeds exceeded them, then after a duration of punishment in hell, you can enter heaven afterwards in a lower degree provided that:
You had in your heart: in this earthly life, and will still have during your punishment duration in hell, even a small amount of:
Love for God as the One and Only God, Humbleness towards Him, and regret for your bad deeds.

Important Note: it’s from the core of Islamic belief that every human is born with a natural Love for God as the One and Only God, Humbleness towards Him, So if the person will still have this heart quality in life and even in the duration in hell, then he will enter heaven eventually after the punishment in hell is finished.

3- Now we can understand the main nature of hell, it's mainly a place of a certain duration of punishment and purification for many humans, who will eventually enter Heaven in the degree they deserve after the punishment is finished. With the Following Exception:

If the person loses and his heart became empty of all and every amount of Love for God as the One and Only God, Humbleness towards Him, and regret for his bad deeds, Either In this earthly life and Also during punishment in hell, then his stay in hell will be eternal, because it will be the natural environment for his kind, since his heart will be filled with endless hatred towards God, envy, resentment, His heart will rage with more fire than his body, he cannot stand to be grateful towards God a single second, So practically he can never enjoy heaven even if he enters it, so he will eternally live the life of fire doing crimes endlessly in the degree he deserves in hell (hell also has many degrees), he eternally dammed himself.

May God have mercy and forgiveness for us all.

I hope this thread gives clarity to this topic for Muslims and non-Muslims here.

Here is a language analysis; I thought it will be beneficial to clear out any confusion about the concepts mentioned above:

In the holy Qur’an:

The Arabic word (Khaledon), this word means being a long time, long time in hell for example, it does not mean eternity, while long time can be eternity, it does not necessary mean eternity. (This is a very known word meaning fact in the Arabic language),

You'll find that some translators used the word "forever", this is actually taking the easy way around, taking the feeling of the verse not the actual very accurate meaning of the Arabic word.

Eternity means in Arabic (ilaa alabad) (abada). Even "abada" from its meanings: "always", so it tends more to the meaning eternity, but it can be "always", not necessary eternity.

That’s why in the Egyptian courts when a sentence of prison "moabbad" it means 25 years not life time.

Well here comes the question, how to tell in the Arabic language that the period is eternity for sure?

The answer is to combine both words, that is to say “Khaledon Abada” in the same sentence.

When we look in the holy Qur'an and see how many times (Khaledon) was mentioned Alone regarding hell, and even Not mentioned at all, it is most of times, and how many times (abada). (app. only 3 times).

I can't find the word "abada" regarding hell except only app. three times, Mentioned along with “khaledon” as this phrase: “Khaledoon fiha Abada”
3 out of many with No "abada" and many even without "khaledon".

But Regarding heaven the holy Qur’an repeatedly combines both words “Khaledoon fiha Abada”

Here again comes the question, is the difference of count in the phrases differ in the analysis? The answer is Yes for sure, and also the concept is confirmed in the comparison:

Holy Qur'an chapter 98:

“6. Those who reject (Truth), among the People of the Book and among the Polytheists, will be in Hell-Fire, to dwell therein (Khaledon). They are the worst of creatures.

7. Those who have faith and do righteous deeds,- they are the best of creatures.

8. Their reward is with God. Gardens of Eternity, beneath which rivers flow; they will dwell therein ” “Khaledon fiha Abada”; God well pleased with them, and they with Him: all this for such as fear their Lord and Cherisher.”

Here we see who reject truth (always reject the truth till the end while they had received the clear message not distorted), from the people of the book (Christians and Jews) , and the Pagans, their punishment is only mentions the word "khaledon" which literally does not mean eternity.

While on who believe and do good deeds it says that they will enter heaven for eternity “Khaledon fiha Abada”.

The verses again leave all options for God alone, and we can try to understand keeping in mind that He is the most Just, the most Wise and the most Merciful.

I Also Want to add A very important note:

To Enter Heaven directly in the day of judgment without any prior period in hell, you need the mentioned deeds “Heart deeds and Actual Deeds” even if you are Not Officially A Muslim, Provided that in your heart you believe in God as the One and Only God, and that All the prophets mentioned in the holy Qur’an including Ibrahim “Abraham”, Moses, Jesus & Mohammed Peace be upon them are God’s Creatures, Servants and prophets , and you read the holy Qur’an along with the bible and the old testament with respect and belief.

Meaning that you are A Unitarian Theist Universalist, either you define yourself as Only this, or Only Jew, Or Only Christian, or of course a Muslim.

Holy Qur'an Chapter 2, Verse 62:

"Indeed, the believers, Jews, Christians, and Sabians—whoever ˹truly˺ believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good will have their reward with their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve."

God Knows Best, and I truly wish the best for most persons by God's Willing.

I would like to add this post to clear out a very important notice & question when any person reads the holy Qur’an regarding this topic:

The notice & question is:

Why is hell punishment verses and doomsday description verses are found a lot in the Holy Qur’an, approximately in the same number and frequency of verses talking about reward, mercy and heaven?.

As an approximate statistic around 60% of the holy Qur’an is around the comparison between Punishment verses & doomsday description verses, and verses talking about reward, mercy and Heaven. Not as a boring repetition, but actually conveying the same message by using different various perspectives, visions, rhythms, and feelings.

The rest 40% percentage is talking about all other very important topics including: instructions in daily life and good Morales including Justice & mercy to all humanity, rituals like praying, fasting, and pilgrimage, war ethics instructions, stories of the blessed prophets and messengers of God, and verses talking about the universe and how great its miracles are, to increase the feeling of God’s greatness in the person reading, etc.

You cannot read any 2 pages of the holy Qur’an without noticing this big percentage of the mentioned comparison taking around 60% of the holy Qur’an.

So there must be a strong reason, and of-course there is.

To understand this reason we must ask the Question:

What is the main Goal of the Holy Qur’an?

Meaning the main goal this book wants to achieve for any person reading it.

The Answer is simple; it’s to lead this person to the path to Heaven.

The main Goal of the holy Qur’an is to encourage the person reading it to be pious increasing his good deeds, and decreasing & repenting from bad deeds. Thus leading him/her to the path to Heaven.

So To reach this goal the holy Qur’an repeatedly makes this comparison using various perspectives.

Well, someone now could ask another question:

But Mahmoud, you have just Said that for most persons Hell’s main duration is limited to a certain long duration, not eternity, then the person will go to Heaven by God’s Willing, wouldn’t it be a better approach to make this the whole 60% full only of love and kindness and heaven, not repeatedly comparing it to hell and punishment, Thus encouraging more persons to embrace Islam?.

The simple answer is: no, this comparison is a must due to 2 reasons:

1- While Yes for specific persons who is in Hell, for most of them it's limited to a certain long duration, not eternity, but this long duration is much more lengthy than the whole person’s Earthly life, So it’s very important to repeat this comparison to encourage the person to be more pious increasing his good deeds, and decreasing & repenting from bad deeds, Thus avoiding this very harsh just punishment in the hereafter.

2- A very Important Dangerous fact: Which is the percentage of arrogance, pride, stubbornness, and defiance in the person's heart that could lead to complete absence of all and every amount of Love for God as the One and Only God, Humbleness towards Him, and regret for his bad deeds. This kind of person could get more in defiance & hatred towards God even in Hell, thus eliminating his chance of ever getting out of it.

I put for reference this paragraph I wrote describing this situation at the first post in the thread:

So here comes another question:

Is there a way for the person to certainly know for sure whether he will be in this situation in hell defying & hating God eternally, Or will he be from the majority who will keep a percentage of love and humbleness towards God, and thus get out of hell and enter heaven after the punishment is done?

The simple answer is: no, there is no certain way to surely confirm this hope for any human including the most pious Muslims.

The Simple fact is that God is the Only one knowing the eternal true self of the person in the non-existence realm.

No person can ever say for sure that he is safe from being included in this horrible category, And the prophet companions knew this fact, that’s why they were always afraid and repenting from bad deeds, and increasing their good deeds, while also hoping for God’s mercy. This is the balance between fear and good hope that the Holy Qur’an taught them to do.

And by the way, when the holy Qur’an talks about specific persons in hell asking for a second chance and being rejected, it elaborates:

1- That they are actually lying and if they got a second chance they will repeat their bad deeds.

2- It mentions that they ask in weakness due to the hardship of the hell punishment, but they also ask actually in deceit, those specific persons do not actually love God or want to obey Him at all. They are arrogant, and evil in their true selves.

So basically the Only way to increase our odds to enter Heaven is using the time we have in this Earthly life well to be pious and good by heart & actual deeds, and staying away from bad deeds. If we do so, then we can truly hope and expect to be from the majority earning God's Mercy by His Willing.

Thus again making the necessity of repeating this comparison in the Holly Qur’an.

As reference I post again the link the related thread elaborating this fact:

The Free Will Question., And How Islamic Philosophy views this issue

May God Bless & Guide Me & You to be pious and good, thus deserving God’s mercy, and entering Heaven by His Willing.

I hope this post clears this issue more for Muslims & non- Muslims here.

May God Bless you all.

Also an important clarification assuring the meaning of this post: that being A Unitarian Theist Universalist from any religion doing good deeds and repenting from bad deeds will earn you heaven directly in the hereafter by God’s willing.

Someone could bring the verse 85 from chapter 3 to refute this point of view:

“Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.”

Well, simply to answer this we have to do 1 thing:

Just read the 2 verses before it along with it:

Holy Qur’an, chapter 3, verse 83 to 85:

“83- Do they desire a way other than Allah’s—knowing that all those in the heavens and the earth submit to His Will, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will ˹all˺ be returned?

84- Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “We believe in Allah and what has been revealed to us and what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and his descendants; and what was given to Moses, Jesus, and other prophets from their Lord—we make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we ˹fully˺ submit.

85- Whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted from them, and in the Hereafter they will be among the losers.”

Now we get the whole view just by reading the verses as a whole:

According to the holy Qur’an the Word “Islam” is describing all Religions from Adam, to Noah, to Abraham “Ibrahim” including all Abrahamic religions “Judaism, Christianity & Islam”.

And by the way to clarify a language fact point, in the Arabic language the word "Khaser: loser" does not mean losing everything eternally, so the persons who will stay a long time in Hell in punishment and purification before they enter heaven are losers in the hereafter in comparison to the persons who will enter heaven directly, they are also losers in that their eventual degree in heaven is much lower and less in the degree of enjoyment compared to the more pious persons who entered heaven directly in the day of judgement.

So again now we can see the point of the verse mentioned:

Holy Qur'an Chapter 2, Verse 62:

"Indeed, the believers, Jews, Christians, and Sabians—whoever ˹truly˺ believes in Allah and the Last Day and does good will have their reward with their Lord. And there will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve."

See how the verse states how being a “Unitarian Theist Universalist” doing good deeds, and repenting from bad deeds till the end, will earn you God’s Mercy by His Willing.

Well A Muslim brother could say: “but Mahmoud, this verse is talking about the past old ages before prophet Muhammad “Peace be upon him”, but nowadays the only accepted religion is Officially Islam.”

I simply reply, no my brother, just see these verses talking about respected Christian “Unitarian Theist Universalist” priests & monks who Cleary in the verses do not officially convert to Islam:

Holy Qur’an, chapter 5, verses 82 to 85:

“82- You will surely find the most bitter towards the believers to be the Jews and polytheists and the most gracious to be those who call themselves Christian. That is because there are priests and monks among them and because they are not arrogant.

83- When they listen to what has been revealed to the Messenger, you see their eyes overflowing with tears for recognizing the truth. They say, “Our Lord! We believe, so count us among the witnesses.

84- Why should we not believe in Allah and the truth that has come to us? And we long for our Lord to include us in the company of the righteous.

85- So Allah will reward them for what they said with Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever. And that is the reward of the good-doers.”

The verses clearly describe respected Christian priests & monks who are “Unitarian Theist Universalists”, Still keep being Christian priests and monks while respecting and believing that Islam is the final religion in their hearts,

They are Still Christian priests & monks, but because they also are “Unitarian Theist Universalists” so they will receive their good reward by God willing as mentioned in verse 85:

“85- So Allah will reward them for what they said with Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever. And that is the reward of the good-doers.”

Someone could also say: “But the verse 82 says that Jews and polytheists are the most bitter towards Muslims”

I reply this is talking about a percentage of Jews and polytheists, they are bitter and enemies normally to Muslims due to different Beliefs, political, and economic interests, this is in this earthly life, and each of them will be assessed according to the balance of his good and bad deeds in the hereafter as mentioned.

But Again the Holy Qur’an verses Cleary say that among them are good people:

Holy Qur’an chapter 3, verses 112 to 115:

“112- They will be stricken with disgrace wherever they go, unless they are protected by a covenant with Allah or a treaty with the people. They have invited the displeasure of Allah and have been branded with misery for rejecting Allah’s revelations and murdering ˹His˺ prophets unjustly. This is ˹a fair reward˺ for their disobedience and violations.

113- Yet they are not all alike: there are some among the People of the Book who are upright, who recite Allah’s revelations throughout the night, prostrating ˹in prayer˺.

114- They believe in Allah and the Last Day, encourage good and forbid evil, and race with one another in doing good. They are ˹truly˺ among the righteous.

115- They will never be denied the reward for any good they have done. And Allah has ˹perfect˺ knowledge of those mindful ˹of Him.”

See how connecting the holy Qur’an verse clearly clarifies the point of view.

The holy Qur’an is a small sized book only 600 rather small sized pages, So to know its point of view regarding any subject you have to do: as the prophet, the companions, the followers and respected scholars taught us to do:

That is to Read the holy Qur’an as a whole integrated book, connecting all verses together.

By doing this you’ll get a clear point of view full of mercy, wisdom, and truth.

God is the best knower, & wiser.

I hope this post illustrates this issue more clearly to Muslim and non-Muslims here

Hi All,

I would like to append a post regarding some few questions that may rise relating to this topic:

Q1: Second chance Question:

You Said Mahmoud that many persons in hell will ask for a second chance to live and be tested again and will promise to be good, and pious, and you said Mahmoud that they are actually evil and God mentions that they will repeat their wrong doings if they Got another chance.

But Mahmoud I do Not get this, they actually entered hell and was tortured in it very hardly, so they are expected logically to be afraid and be good in their second chance if they Got it.

Reply: This question my friend has some logic, but it misses a very important concept:

The grading in God’s perception and the aspects of getting to Heaven do Not depend on fear, it actually depends on Love.

God does Not grade you because your neck is humble and afraid of God’s might after you experienced hell, while inside your heart you hate God and do Not want to be grateful for Him a single second, and you pray and be good because of mere fear Only, this actually means nothing to God Almighty.

God Almighty does Not want obedient Necks with evil, non-grateful, & hating hearts.

He Actually wants good, pious, and grateful loving hearts.

God grades you for your love for Him and being pious, grateful, He Almighty does Not want your neck as a slave, He wants your heart as a loving servant who actually loves Him and Loves His creatures, and care for them.

Holy Qur'an, chapter 26:

"3- Perhaps you ˹O Prophet˺ will grieve yourself to death over their disbelief.

4- If We willed, We could send down upon them a ˹compelling˺ sign from the heavens, leaving their necks bent in ˹utter˺ submission to it."

If God almighty showed a compelling sign from Him to all humanity, He will have their necks as hating slaves, thus this will result in the point that grading and testing humans will be impossible, this is the main point.

Thus those evil persons their second chance will be exactly similar to their first chance, with God Almighty sending messengers and books to warn humanity and summon them to goodness withOut a neck slave compelling sign, because this actually will render the test completely useless and inaccurate.

So surely those evil persons will return to their true evil selves and will lie to themselves again and ignore the sings, books, and messengers.

They will simply perceive their formal time in hell as just a bad dream Not as an actual hardship that happened, they will continue to lie to themselves again and will again do their evil doings, this is their eternal nature.

Q2: What is The approximate percentages of the number of persons who will enter hell and heaven?

Reply: this is a very good question, while God Almighty did Not mention in the holy Qur’an a specific percentages number, He left us some clues that can help us in guessing the approximate percentages.

As mentioned in the Arabic language to give the accurate meaning of “eternity” you must combine both words” Khaledoon fiha Abada”

And As mentioned this combination regarding hell was mentioned only app. 3 times,

While also confirming by language analysis of the holy Qur’an verses and some of the prophet’s Traditions, that most persons who will be in hell their duration it is for a limited long duration, then eventually they will enter Heaven afterwards in the degrees they deserve.

And regarding heaven this combination” Khaledoon fiha Abada” was mentioned app. 17 times.

So with a simple mathematical calculation we reach the approximate conclusion that: who will be in hell eternally is an app. percentage of 17.6% of persons in comparison with the percentage of persons who will enter heaven eternally.

Of course God Almighty knows best.

Q3: What is the minimum duration sentence in hell?

Again a very good question and the holy Qur’an also clearly replied to this question by a simple language analysis:

Holy Qur’an chapter 78 verse 23:

“where they will remain [in hell] for ages “Ahqabaa””.

The word “Ahqabaa: ages” is the plural tense of the word “huqba: age” and in Arabic it means approximately 25 years.

So again by a simple mathematical equation we reach the conclusion that the minimum duration sentence in hell will be at least a number of 3 “huqba: age” with a total of app. 75 years.

But the actual problem for those persons with this minimum duration of 75 years, the fact that during all those long hard years they will never know that they actually will get out after only 75 years, the sentence in hell does Not disclose the duration, this information will only be told to them after the sentence duration finishes.

May God Bless us all with mercy and guidance, Amin

And may God Bless you all.

Numerical correction with detailed analysis & exact verses

Hi all, Happy Ramadan to all Muslims brothers, and God bless on all members and visitors,

I would like to add a numerical correction to my last post after revising the exact verses regarding the phrase “Khaledoon / khaledeen - fiha abada” which accurately means eternity, and its related phrases, in the holy Qur’an regarding Heaven and Hell.

Regarding Hell, No numerical correction needed:

First I need to assure that The number where “Khaledoon / khaledeen - fiha abada” which accurately means eternity regarding Hell is the same and fully correct at 3 times, it's correct because when I posted it I revised the exact 3 verses that contain this phrase and double checked with an number of Arabic dictionaries and search engines in addition to my revise and regular daily reading in the holy Qur’an.

The verses are as follows:

1- Chapter 4:

168-169: Those who disbelieve and wrong themselves—surely Allah will neither forgive them nor guide them to any path - except that of Hell, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. And that is easy for Allah.

2- Chapter 33:

64-65: Surely Allah condemns the disbelievers, and has prepared for them a blazing Fire, - to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. —not will they find any protector or helper.

3- Chapter 72:

23: ˹My duty is˺ only to convey ˹the truth˺ from Allah and ˹deliver˺ His messages.” And whoever disobeys “Yaas: Continually disobeys with defiance” Allah and His Messenger will certainly be in the Fire of Hell, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”.

Now we get to Heaven where the needed correction is:

When I posted the number 17 regarding the phrase “Khaledoon / khaledeen - fiha abada” I depended on Only search engine and did Not revise each verse, and for this I humbly apologize.

So the more accurate number is 8 times this phrase was mentioned regarding heaven “Khaledoon / khaledeen - fiha abada”, and an additional 1 time with the phrase “Maketheen Fihe abada”.

Also the holy Quran mentioned 11 times regarding Heaven the word “adn: Eden” which literally means “long stable stay” & also Strongly tends to the meaning eternity in the Arabic language especially because it’s exclusively mentioned in the holy Quran regarding Heaven Only.

So here are the verses:

The phrase “Khaledoon / khaledeen - fiha abada” Regarding Heaven with a total number of 8 Times:

1- Chapter 4:

57: As for those who believe and do good, We will admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”.. There they will have pure spouses,1 and We will place them under a vast shade.

2- Chapter 4:

122: And those who believe and do good, We will soon admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”.. Allah’s promise is ˹always˺ true. And whose word is more truthful than Allah’s?

3- Chapter 5:

119: Allah will declare, “This is the Day when ˹only˺ the faithful will benefit from their faithfulness. Theirs are Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. That is the ultimate triumph.”

4- Chapter 9:

21-22: Their Lord gives them good news of His mercy, pleasure, and Gardens with everlasting bliss, - to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. Surely with Allah is a great reward.

5- Chapter 9:

100: As for the foremost—the first of the Emigrants1 and the Helpers2—and those who follow them in goodness, Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. And He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. That is the ultimate triumph.

6- Chapter 64:

9: ˹Consider˺ the Day He will gather you ˹all˺ for the Day of Gathering—that will be the Day of mutual loss and gain. So whoever believes in Allah and does good, He will absolve them of their sins and admit them into Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. That is the ultimate triumph.

7- Chapter 65:

11: ˹and sent˺ a messenger reciting to you Allah’s revelations, making things clear so that He may bring those who believe and do good out of darkness and into light. And whoever believes in Allah and does good will be admitted by Him into Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. Allah will have indeed granted them an excellent provision.

8- Chapter 98:

8: Their reward with their Lord will be Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is ˹only˺ for those in awe of their Lord.

The phrase “Maketheen Fihe abada”, 1 time:

1- Chapter 18:

2-3: ˹making it˺ perfectly upright, to warn ˹the disbelievers˺ of a severe torment from Him; to give good news to the believers—who do good—that they will have a fine reward, - in which they will remain forever “Maketheen Fihe abada”.

And the word Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden” was mentioned 11 times:

1- Chapter 98:

8: Their reward with their Lord will be Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, under which rivers flow, to stay there for ever and ever “Kaheldeen Fiha Abada”. Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him. This is ˹only˺ for those in awe of their Lord.

2- Chapter 9:

72: Allah has promised the believers, both men and women, Gardens under which rivers flow, to stay there forever, and splendid homes in the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, and—above all—the pleasure of Allah. That is ˹truly˺ the ultimate triumph.

3- Chapter 13:

23: the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, which they will enter along with the righteous among their parents, spouses, and descendants. And the angels will enter upon them from every gate, ˹saying,˺

4- Chapter 16:

31: the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, which they will enter, under which rivers flow. In it they will have whatever they desire. This is how Allah rewards the righteous.

5- Chapter 18:

31: It is they who will have the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, with rivers flowing under their feet. There they will be adorned with bracelets of gold, and wear green garments of fine silk and rich brocade, reclining there on ˹canopied˺ couches. What a marvellous reward! And what a fabulous place to rest!

6- Chapter 19:

61: ˹They will be in˺ the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, promised in trust by the Most Compassionate to His servants. Surely His promise will be fulfilled.

7- Chapter 20:

76: the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, under which rivers flow, where they will stay forever. That is the reward of those who purify themselves.

8- Chapter 35:

33: They will enter the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, where they will be adorned with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their clothing will be silk.

9- Chapter 38:

50: the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”, whose gates will be open for them.

10- Chapter 40:

8: Our Lord! Admit them into the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden” which You have promised them, along with the righteous among their parents, spouses, and descendants. You ˹alone˺ are truly the Almighty, All-Wise.

11- Chapter 61:

12: He will forgive your sins, and admit you into Gardens under which rivers flow, and ˹house you in˺ splendid homes in the Gardens of Eternity “adn: Eden”. That is the ultimate triumph.

I hope this detailed analysis is beneficial and informative

I would like to append a note regarding the Second Chance Question:

First I quote my humble reply again to build on it:

Someone may ask, but if this is the way God tests and measures humans to assure the truth, there must be a baseline to build on it,

In fact the holy Qur’an testifies that there is a baseline already built in every human heart and soul.

Holy Qur’an, chapter 7:

“172. And when Your Lord summoned the descendants of Adam, and made them testify about themselves. “Am I not your Lord?” They said, “Yes, we testify.” Thus you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, “We were unaware of this.

173. Nor can you Say, “Our ancestors practiced idolatry before; and we are their descendants who came after them; will you destroy us for what the falsifiers did?”

174. We thus elaborate the revelations, so that they may return.”

Someone could say, but I do not remember this testimony.

I humbly reply, you do remember, just look whenever you’re in danger the first thing that pops in your heart, soul and mind is to take refuge and ask help from the higher power, even if you are not a believer in your normal daily routine, whenever your life is in danger you immediately remember this testimony’s feeling and ask help from the higher power,

Names do not matter, there is always a deep feeling for God as the higher power you take refuge to no-matter the name you call this power, Allah, God, Lord, Yahweh, Brahma, etc.

Every child is Born with this deep feeling, this makes even very young children have conscience and morals before any parenting guide from their parents even start.

Holy Qur’an, chapter 30:

“30. So devote yourself to the religion of monotheism—the natural instinct God has instilled in mankind. There is no altering God’s creation. This is the true religion, but most people do not know.”

I hope this note clarifies this issue more to Muslims and non- Muslims here

Happy Eid to you all,

I would like to illustrate 2 very important points regarding our topic:

But first I re-stress on the most important fact:

- Life is a very hard intelligent test with the ultimate goal to assure the true eternal self of each creature or human.

Thus No person can be 100% sure whether he passed or failed this test except at the moment of death when he’ll know whether he is from the winners who will go to heaven or the losers who will go to hell.

Simply because the person can deceive all humanity himself included pretending that he’s good hearted & pious, while his true eternal self is arrogant, hating, defying and Sinner.

This kind of hypocrite deceptive person, the holy Qur’an and the prophet told us that God may expose his evilness even very shortly before his death by facilitating and allowing the person to do huge evil deed “like murder, rape, insulting God, etc.” very shortly before his death.

And since The fact is that God knows every person true self even much more accurately that the person himself thinks he knows his own true self.

So all these facts concluded the known fact: that we should work hard and try our best to increase our odds of getting to heaven by doing good deeds & Purify and grow our soles in goodness, and restrain from doing bad deeds.

Also this made the necessity as told of a balance between Fear from God’s punishment to encourage us to restrain from doing bad deeds, While also hoping for the best from God with love, obedience, & prayer, And care and love for His creatures.

Now we get to our 2 points that depends on the formal illustrated fact above, I’ll illustrate each concept then append the holy Qur’an verses for reference:

1- It’s not enough to admit God’s existence without admitting His authority to tell you what to do or not do.

The holy Qur’an Clearly illustrates that God Almighty has 2 very clear roles or occupations:

a- He is the “Rab: The Lord who creates, supports, gives & facilitates all creatures needs “Food, Air, Water, etc.”” whether they obey Him or not. He supports all His creatures.

b- He Almighty is also the “ilah: Allah God” who is to be respected, top dignified, and obeyed in His orders”, who punishes the arrogant sinners, and rewards the pious, loving, doing good deeds persons.

So In order to win this hard test of life and go to heaven You Must fulfill by heart and actual deeds both categories A & B,

Meaning you Must admit that God is the “Rab: Lord” and Also admit that He is the “ilah: Allah God”, practically by obeying & respecting His orders. as much as you possibly can, meaning it’s Only accepted that you work your hardest to obey God 100% of your Actual Capability “Physiological, financial, mental, physical health, etc.”. This is the Only guarantee that you will Not suffer any long duration in hell that might extend to eternity, and really hope you will be among the winners who will enter heaven directly.

Now someone could ask, but how can I be sure what God really orders and wants me to do?, we see fanatics from all religions committing horrible crimes claiming in deceit that God Almighty ordered them to do so. Also the Books and messages can be manipulated and falsely wrongly interpreted, by Evil Scholars who want Authority, money and power over people deceiving & lying saying that they are God’s true representatives.

The simple answer is in my last post, The Baseline that God had put in every creature heart and soul. I quote it here for reference:

Happy Eid to you all,

This hard encoded baseline in every human heart & soul, acts as a very accurate compass, Guiding every human who really listens to it to Accurately interpret God’s messages and books and take the good path.

Examples: The very basic feeling of the urge to save a child instead of killing him, to respect and honor your parents instead of hurting them, to do your best in your profession Not because your salary is big but because you offer your hard work to God Almighty trying your best to make the world He created a better place, to give charity to the poor instead of stealing from others, etc.

Every Hard encoded moral & pure goodness in every born human Heart and Soul.

Important note: It’s very stressed on the importance of Not getting proud with your good deeds, and always try to focus your intention for every good deed you do to be solely for God’s sake, while humbly praying and asking God to accept it. Not bragging and falsely thinking that you have surely earned heaven by your good deed, because this bragging & arrogance will delete your reward immediately and your good deed will not be accepted.

Heaven is for the humble, pious, loving hearts, Not the arrogant, over-proud, stubborn, evil hearts.

2- It’s greatly encouraged to join Islam officially for every Unitarian theist Universalist person, because this will actually double the odds of passing this hard test of life and entering heaven.

The prophet and the holy Qur’an Cleary stated that: following Islam officially in every good teaching doubles the reward, because it’s the final message sent by God to humanity.

This does not negate the fact that many so called Muslims who are actually criminals will probably go to hell, and many Non-Muslims who are Unitarian theist Universalists will probably go to heaven directly by God’s willing, even if they are not officially Muslims.

But the main point is that hereafter is a place for grading, and there are numerous grades in heaven, so the more you score in this hard test of life the higher the grade of enjoyment you’ll enjoy eternally in heaven.

Here are Holy Qur’an verses down:

Chapter 2:

“284. To God belongs everything in the heavens and the earth. Whether you reveal what is within your selves, or conceal it, God will call you to account for it. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. God is Able to do all things.

285. The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, as did the believers. They all have believed in God, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers: “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord. To you is the destiny.”

286. God does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. To its credit is what it earns, and against it is what it commits. “Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not burden us as You have burdened those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear; and pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord and Master, so help us against the disbelieving people.”

Chapter 53:

“32. Those who avoid gross sins and indecencies—except for minor lapses—your Lord is of Vast Forgiveness. He knows you well, ever since He created you from the earth, and ever since you were embryos in your mothers’ wombs. So do not acclaim your own virtue; He is fully aware of the righteous.”

Chapter 4:

“31. If you avoid the worst of what you are forbidden, We will remit your sins, and admit you by a Gate of Honor.”

Chapter 42:

“37. And those who avoid major sins and indecencies; and if they become angry, they forgive.

38. And those who respond to their Lord, and pray regularly, and conduct their affairs by mutual consultation, and give of what We have provided them.”

Chapter 7:

“42. As for those who believe and do righteous works—We never burden any soul beyond its capacity—these are the inhabitants of the Garden; abiding therein eternally.”

Chapter 23:

“60. And those who give what they give, while their hearts quake, knowing that to their Lord they will return.

61. It is they who race towards goodness. It is they who will reach it first.

62. We never burden any soul beyond its capacity. And with Us is a record that tells the truth, and they will not be wronged.

Chapter 28:

“52. Those to whom We gave the Scripture before it believe in it.

53. When it is recited to them, they say, “We have believed in it; it is the truth from our Lord; we were Muslims prior to it.”

54. These will be given their reward twice, because they persevered; and they counter evil with good; and from Our provisions to them, they give.”

Chapter 50:

“24. “Throw into Hell every stubborn disbeliever.

25. Preventer of good, aggressor, doubter.”

Chapter 68:

“10. And do not obey any vile swearer.

11. Backbiter, spreader of slander.

12. Preventer of good, transgressor, sinner.

13. Rude and fake besides.”

I hope this analysis clarifies these 2 points to Muslims and non-Muslims here
God Blesses to you all
