I don't mean to offend anyone but can someone explain why the Trinity doctrine is held as a central

The Trinity is a bit like Quantum Mechanics. Hence Feynman's amended quote is relevant ...

"If you think you understand The Trinity, you don't understand The Trinity."
1 Corinthians 14:33 "For God is not a God of confusion but of peace. As in all the churches of the saints"

God didn't create a doctrine that confuses people, man did.
