Ever thought "wait, didn't I answer that question or its reverse way back"? That's because some questions are asked multiple times in slightly different formulations. That's to catch the "liars". Every modern test has those as the problem is well known and tried to compensate for.A problem with many personality tests is that many of them don't account for... how to put it... dishonest responses? That's not a good way to put it. It's a known issue that humans in general tend to agree with flattering descriptions of themselves and disagree with unflattering ones. As such, self-reporting on these tests sometimes is not accurate. In any case, most human behavior is dictated by environment or external factors, not personality or internal factors (which is more of a mediator). But folks - especially in my country - do not like to talk about how much environment strongly determines one's lot in life for one reason or another.
