Personality Test!

Heyo

A problem with many personality tests is that many of them don't account for... how to put it... dishonest responses? That's not a good way to put it. It's a known issue that humans in general tend to agree with flattering descriptions of themselves and disagree with unflattering ones. As such, self-reporting on these tests sometimes is not accurate. In any case, most human behavior is dictated by environment or external factors, not personality or internal factors (which is more of a mediator). But folks - especially in my country - do not like to talk about how much environment strongly determines one's lot in life for one reason or another. Probably because when we actually give underprivileged groups access to elite resources stuff like this happens and certain folks don't like these outcomes: A College Program for Disadvantaged Teens Could Shake Up Elite Admissions
Ever thought "wait, didn't I answer that question or its reverse way back"? That's because some questions are asked multiple times in slightly different formulations. That's to catch the "liars". Every modern test has those as the problem is well known and tried to compensate for.

I'm not sure of the validity of these tests, given that many of the questions assume so much, but I was, according to such tests some years back either INTJ or INFJ but now get the following - I know I have changed but by this much?

Yes, though the different formulations are quite easy to spot, if you're so inclined. And of course tests like these can't account for people who provide inaccurate responses because they don't know themselves very well.

Are you saying that the ENFJ personality type is more confident and INFJ is not very confident?
Well, no wonder I cannot decide who to rent my house to.:(
Probably not, but the shift from introversion to extroversion (which is what seems to have happened) tends to give the impression of greater confidence, and allow such expression. Not sure if my personality has shifted that much though - the questions being a bit debatable - but I certainly feel more at home with my current personality. Can't help with your house situation, as mine is probably worse. :D
