What Is Right?

The media and people in general seem to focus on everything that is wrong in the World. Certainly something is right in the World, or am I being too cynical?

I think the human , if he thinks on a thing enough, as a human should , is automoral. This concept of automorality is related to what Jesus said about people sensing good and evil plainly, but the way I think of it is a little different, as I don't think automorality is connected to a single religion. I think most people orbit a correct intuition about what they should do

But there is an obsession with everything that is, well, off kilter. I'm not saying it doesn't need our attention, only that it shouldn't paint our perception.

The wrong needs attention so that it can be made right. After a while people get used to paying attention, even if they won't make it right.

I'd like to think that there's nothing wrong with the world, or even with humanity. That humans are just doing human things, nature takes its course. I put a bit of hope toward the idea that there's a bigger picture to it all.

Wrong sells news, unfortunately right doesn't get much headline space except maybe in the odd box page. And many people follow the media lead.

Incidentally thats why i prefer a local news paper that relegates world news towards the back of the paper .

There is plenty of right, you just don't hear about it unless you look

As mentioned by @ChristineM, the media tends to focus on the news that sells. I have made a thread about the good and bad parts of our societies so we might find out from others how they see such.

Sure things are right with the world, but right is less marketable. "Crap is king." ~ Don Henley

There is no right. There is no wrong. It is... all in your head.

The closest I get to feelings of “right” is when I watch the sun set.
