Who is Jesus?

Who is Jesus?

I get for one that innocent Jesus s/o Mary was a born Jew, a human being, a truthful Messenger/Prophet of G-d, follower of the teachings/Law of Moses, please. Right?
Jesus was born as a Jew and died a natural death as a Jew said to be at the late age of 120 years, he never was a Christian , had nothing to do with Pauline-Christianity and he never read from the 4 Gospels, I figure. Right?

Regards

Yes sir that is true, with the exception of his life span of 33 1/2 yrs.

That would definitely be Roman history I believe

Well Capumetu, I said from a historical perspective. I believe otherwise, but from a historical perspective, the probability is that which I stated.

And I definitely do agree with you that this is from the Roman history.

Yes sir, I agree that he is the son of God, although I think that he was anything but anonymous (wow I am glad you spelled that). If he was who he claimed however, he was fully human, as he was a corresponding ransom for Adam, perfect human life offered to by back what a perfect human life lost.
Jesus didn't begin public teaching until he was around 30 years old. It was well into his ministry that he asked the apostles directly who they thought he was. It wasn't until the end that he acknowledge his divinity.

Adam obviously wasn't perfect, neither was Satan, or Eve or the rest of us. Jesus never taught that he was a substitute human sacrifice to pay a sin debt, he taught that God is a forgiving Father, repent and restore right relations with him.

The opening verse of the Bible states God created the heavens and the earth, and logically all other things as mentioned. But yes he is the son of God. He assisted in the creation as well, but not credited as the creator. Thanks for your response Prophet
Yet John in the New Testament gives credit to the Lord Jesus Christ for the Creation of the Heavens, the Earth and indeed "all things" and explained that "without him was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:3)

It is my belief that He made all things under the direction of His Father.

God is the creator, Jesus however is referred to as the master craftsman that assisted in all creation Col 1:16. Of course he did not create himself. Jesus was the first creation by God Rev 3:14
I do not believe that anything can be "created" in the sense of something from nothing - but the Universe was "made" from materials that already existed.

Of course the Lord Jesus Christ did not "make" Himself as He is - but I do believe that He has always exists in some form and that He could have made - or rather "formed" - everything else - as John claimed.

Actually maam, he was not a Christian, his followers became Christians, or in other words his followers or disciples.
Only a small section of his later followers created Christianity and they did so in a syncretic way.
The original (direct) followers of Jesus would have been very surprised about the Christian religion had they known it.
Other types of followers (who were not Christians) slowly became outnumbered and their movements disappeared after several centuries. Their scriptures were no longer copied and were lost to posterity.

So you could say that the mission of the original historical Jesus failed and was swamped away by the Christian mission who made a new iconic like Jesus with seperate teachings of their own (blurring away the original teachings).

Simple question that Jesus once asked, yet many answer that question differently. What is your opinion?
This is Jesus Christ, the Scriptures describe Him better than anyone could.
“I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: king of kings and lord of lords.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭19:11-16‬ ‭

I agree because pre-human heavenly Jesus was part of the ' us ' found at Genesis 1:26. - Colossians 1:16
And Jesus gives credit to his Father being 'greater' (Not on the same level ) as Jesus at John 14:28
1 Corinthians 8:6 lets us know that there is one God and one Jesus. One plus one does Not equal one.
People beheld Jesus, but at No time did people behold God according to John at 1 John 4:12; John 6:46

Yes, "in" the beginning....
According to Psalms 90:2 God had No beginning.
God is from everlasting, so only God was ' before ' the beginning of anything else.
Thus, pre-human Jesus was Not ' before ' the beginning as his God was before the beginning.
That is why John could write that Jesus was the beginning of the creation by God at Revelation 3:14 B
Even the resurrected ascended-to-heaven Jesus still thinks he has a God over him according to Revelation 3:12

Isaiah 40:26 agrees with you in that anything created is Not from Nothing.
Material creation comes from God's POWER, God's STRENGTH.
In other words, God supplied the abundantly needed dynamic energy in order to create the visible realm of existence.
