book about demonic influence

If I were to write a book about how I'm haunted by a demon what do you think that book should include?

Because that's what I'm currently doing :D

Basically: what things should such a book cover?

What would you want to get out of such a book?

It is going to be written from a Christian perspective - the emphasis will be on spiritual warfare rather than mental ill-health although I imagine it could also stand as a psychiatric case study

Any ideas/suggestions would be most welcome :)

It should include empirical evidence that such invisible beings exist, and why psychological/neurological explanations of whatever phenomenon you're experiencing are wrong.

You should start of by writing about how you came to be haunted in the first place, so the reader gets an insight into you got to be in this situation.
The experts say that Demons can come into a persons life if that person invites them through a medium such as a spirit board or a summoning up ritual as practised by Witches.
You could also encounter them if you move to a house where the previous occupant summoned them and you find they didn't move out with the previous residents. So a background would be helpful to the reader.

If I read your book, I'd like to know how you dealt with the haunting and if the encounters were visual or physical and how severe they were.

You should also mention the type of spiritual weapons you used and how effective they were/are.

There should be a clear distinction made between a mental illness and Demonic oppression or attack. Whilst evil Spirits do damage or destroy a persons mental health, a mental illness needs to be ruled out as the sole cause of the problem since evil spirits destroy the persons physical, mental and spiritual health. Some people just suffer from a mental illness alone, so it's not related to any Demonic influence.

Try to put the reader in a timeline picture, from the beginning up to the present and how you plan to deal with it into the future.
