Your poll so far is anti-bi.More getting personal... I feel like we're dealing with Communists... Like U.S.S.R. style.
'I don't believe you' isn't a personal attack and he derailed it on his own. Feel free to add more to the topic, though.Reviewing the thread, it appears that your posts
are derailing the thread with with personal attacks.
Why not let the guy try for some bi-partisan detente.
Nah...a good nite's sleep, some bacon for breakfast,I'm not here to be judged and inspected... I'm here as a hobby.
...Maybe it's time I leave.

Consistent with all the partisan hostility, eh.
It strikes me as calling someone a liar by other words.'I don't believe you' isn't a personal attack and he derailed it on his own. Feel free to add more to the topic, though.
I take positions that are far left, far right, & far afield. What would a truly bipartisan party look like if not just 'centrist'?
That's one view.(Again, a misnomer in the US because we don't actually have a 'left'. So it'd just be center-right.)
Then you've misinterpreted. People can be wrong, misinformed, uncommitted or various other approaches that aren't lies but one might not believe. It strikes me as calling someone a liar by other words.
Having one or two beliefs on one side or another doesn't make a party. Democrat and Republican are parties with a profile of stances (centrist and rightist respectively). And no matter what the OP says you literally can't be both a Democrat and Republican. So what would this bipartisan party look like?I take positions that are far left, far right, & far afield.
Yet I'm not a centrist.
Many see democrats as far left. They're welcome to that belief, even if it's not correct from a historical and global political viewpoint. It's literally reductive. Hence the Overton window. That's one view.
But many of us see a spectrum which can be loosely
described as left of the middle, & right of the middle.
I reviewed the posts, & stand by my earlier one. Then you've misinterpreted. People can be wrong, misinformed, uncommitted or various other approaches that aren't lies but one might not believe.
The OP strikes me as seeking common ground.Having one or two beliefs on one side or another doesn't make a party. Democrat and Republican are parties with a profile of stances (centrist and rightist respectively). And no matter what the OP says you literally can't be both a Democrat and Republican. So what would this bipartisan party look like?
The OP deals with Ameristan so that view is most productive. Many see democrats as far left. They're welcome to that belief, even if it's not correct from a historical and global political viewpoint. It's literally reductive. Hence the Overton window.
*eyeroll* Nevermind.I reviewed the posts, & stand by my earlier one.
Unless one can make an objective case against
sincerity, it's wrong to presume insincerity.
The OP strikes me as seeking common ground.
Indeed, Dems & Pubs do have much overlap.
In these hostile times, the emotions look more polarized
than their politics are. They need to get past the hostility.
The OP deals with Ameristan so that view is most productive.
To deny it by imposing a European perspective is niggling.
That would make for some interesting bumper stickers. I like it.If you do, be proud and let everyone know.
Liberals....they so often have the TERF mentality
towards others who aren't "real" liberals.
