What are you listening to - the rock/metal version

The Sum of Awe

Scream-o, heavy metal, grunge, modern rock, old rock, classic rock, nu-metal, heck even Beatles are accepted here. What are some songs that have had your soul doing the air guitar lately?

Aw man, so many to choose from. I guess I'll start the thread off with this one:

I'm listening to this. I don't believe there is a rock/metal version of it.

Been listening to Candlebox a lot lately. They were one of my brother's favorites and we even got to see them in concert once.

I'm stuck in the late '60s, early '70s with my taste of rock music. There was no other time that was as innovative and creative. Exhibit A:

If you like heavy grunge, you should check out the band Melvins. Their beat is epic as hell and their lyric style is unique: their lyrics are basically nonsensical although fans theorize the deeper meaning behind the nonsensical lyrics - maybe they're out of order, maybe they are nonsense because they're supposed to show insanity, who knows...

It's been awhile since I've listened to them.

I am so glad they're back together. They sound basically as if they're picking up where they left off before the label butchered them.
Their cover of Everyday is like Halloween I like way more than Ministry's original.
Did not know they got back together, that's awesome!

I've been listening to a few female fronted bands recently. I enjoy harsh vocals but tend to prefer it when they're performed by women. I'm not a fan of the Cookie Monster voice some of the men do.

I'd have linked to Spoil Engine - Disconnect too but that one probably has too many F-bombs for the forum.
