The JW's claim Jesus was not son of Adam.

Faith-confidence in what we hope for (Hebrews 11)
I believe that was somewhere around 4500 BCE. The DNA actually traces back to 30,000 BCE as sino-indian.
The Bible says God created Adam about 6000 years ago. From the ground. He also made Eve from Adam's rib. I have no reason not to believe that.

I believe God can make Himself King and needs no help from man made rules. The fulfillment of prophecy only requires Him to be an offspring of David and Mary qualifies as that.
God, as Jesus knew it, was the Father that he prayed to.

I believe time lines vary but it isn't 30,000 years ago. The DNA doesn't lie.

I believe there is a difference between simply being created by word as the first of men were and being created from the earth as Adam was. There are two different creation stories. There is no validity in combining them into one.

I believe He knew Himself as God as well.
The Bible makes clear he knew himself as the Son of God who came from heaven. John 17:3 helps to explain this: "Now this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent." 1. God sent Jesus. 2. Jesus prayed to the God in heaven. 3. People must know God--the "only true" God--and Jesus, His Son.

The "Word" is associated with Jesus. Jesus is the Word of God.

The JW's claim that Jesus was not a son of Adam.

Here's the quote from another thread:

"Jesus was "the son of God"...NOT the son of Adam. Had he been a son of Adam, then he would not have been sinless. The ransom required the payment of an equivalent life....no son of Adam could offer the needed payment....a perfect life for a perfect life." --Jehovah Witness

What do you think?

I'd like to keep this debate within the context of the Scriptures
If Jesus was not Son of Adam then he could not be Son of Man as well, as he had no seed of a man and he had only seed of a woman and with the same reason he was not Son of God also ,as he had no seed of G-d also. Right friends, please?

Ok, here's how I look at it. Mary had genes from Adam. Eve came directly from Adam (his rib). She didn't have a fleshly mother and father producing her. Yet God was able to make her out of Adam's rib. Everyone after Adam and Eve has genes developed from man and woman. They were unique. In Jesus' case, he was given life from God, not the usual way from a man and woman. Jehovah caused life given to Jesus to be in Mary's womb. Now the question is: do you think the life in Mary's womb came from heaven?

Well I’m not sure if it’s scriptural to say this, but as a son of Mary who is allegedly according to some people’s perception a descendent of what they believe to be the first human (Adam) this would technically make Jesus a son of Adam through His mother.

Son of Adam is a mere statement that means "Human".

Son of Adam and Son of Man are the same.

There's one little problem with that within the context of the argument. That is that Adam was made BY God. Given life BY God. Now unless you believe otherwise, please do say so. Thanks. that would help to understand what you're saying within the context.

YT, Son of Adam is a direct reference to a mere human. This is just language. This is prevalent in Hebrew as well as Arabic. It just means member of humankind.

I believe English is confusing. Man can mean one person or the whole human race. Son of man just means He is human.

It is possible that God created a seed for the male portion of the conception but it wouldn't come from Go because God doesn't do it that way as I believe the Qu'ran is saying when it says that God does not have sons.

Are you serious? No son of Adam can be sinless. All of Adam's offspring inherited sin. (Romans 5:12)

Hebrews 4:14-15...
"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold on to our public declaration of him. 15 For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tested in all respects as we have, but without sin."

Hebrews 7:26....

"For it is fitting for us to have such a high priest who is loyal, innocent, undefiled, separated from the sinners, and exalted above the heavens."

1 Peter 2:22...

"He committed no sin, nor was deception found in his mouth."

Luke 3:23...
"When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, the son of Eli...."

Jesus was not the son of Joseph and he was born through Mary but was not genetically related to either of them, otherwise he could not have been born "sinless"...the exact equivalent of Adam. The DNA of the human race was now defective...every single human born from Adam was sentenced to death in their genetics. Nothing can stop humans from dying except the ransom provided by God in the human we call Jesus Christ who came from heaven to be born as a human child on earth. As a perfect man, Jesus would never have aged or died of natural causes. He died because he was murdered.

All that is required to be Jewish to Jews is to be born of a Jewish mother....Jesus was.

It won't matter how I explain it...if you have your mind made up....

Now you can show me from scripture that Jesus WAS a "son of Adam"....

Your fellow JW's disagree with you on this topic.

Does that mean that you are not a true JW because you don't understand a belief?

Jesus geneaology traces back to Adam, therefore he is a Son of Adam. (Luke 3:38)
