A Piece of Mind about Saddam's Death

Judgement Day

Saddam is dead. This is an occurence that should be written in the black book of the history of the world. The death of Saddam was executed clearly out of Bush's intention. In fact, Bush is the one that's suppose to brought to the court room. Under his reign, the US attacked Iraq which results in a lot of innocent people's death. Iraq is a mess, and has not been rehabilitated and reconstructed ever since. The other issue, Bush brought down a legal Government in Iraq. Saddam was a legal President and was brought down with the violence of war. What happened to the nation of the USA that self proclaimed to be the most democratic country in the world? One obvious fact that we must pay attention to is that Bush never did find what he indicted Iraq for. He never found the weapon of mass destruction which he slandered Iraq for. Fact: the reason to destroy Saddams government wasn't found, but he was still executed anyway. We know that death penalty violates our basic human rights. Doesn't the US which categorizes itself as the most democratic country in the world, also proclaims to be the country that puts basic human rights on the top of the line? This is a fact which tells us that Bush and his Government are bigass hypocrites. History also proves that the United States of America under the reign of Bush becomes a violent country. Under his "War against Terrorism" campaign, Bush attacks Afghanistan and Iraq. Being the most powerful man in the world has put Bush's heart to death. He should know that violence which is treated with violence will only cause more violence, inequities will only cause more inequities, and when this inequity happens to happen to someone else, including Saddam, this will only give birth to more and more terrorists. The decision to put Saddam to death by hanging will definitely not erase terrorism out of the face of earth. Very very ironic that the message of peace of Christmas and Eid didn't even touch Bush's heart even a little nor did it touch the Government of Iraq's heart. Saddam is dead, I can only say that I'm sorry.

No, he isn't. His death was faked for certain nefarious purposes, but I'm certain he's alive and well on a funny-farm Cottage house near Bohemian Grove, settling bets with his friend George Bush and laughing @ the gullibility ot the masses. Oh, and eating many chocolate muffins too...

Even if it were true, few there are who would sympathize with this brutish tyrant: death may be justly seen as a fitting reward for such a murderous life lived.

Whatever the reason is, I am against death penalties, It violates our basic human rights, there are much more solutions that could be applied that would result in a much more positive effect worldwide, i.e. we won't see little kids hanging themselves.

I do not agree with State executions either: but its preferable to mob justice. Would Sadaam being thrown to Shi'ite thugs in the street for justice be reasonable?

I can honestly say I feel sorry for the guy and the way he died disturbs me, but we can never forget the atrocities he placed upon innocent women and children in Kuwait... I know some former Kuwaiti residence who now live here in Utah who lost their home and possessions due to his evil regime. His army repeatedly raped women then killed them and their families during Bush senior's administration, we were too easy on him then and it has taken this long for him to be brought to justice for the crimes he committed, which he would continue to commit if allowed to, no doubt.

True, he was evil, and I also despise Saddam and his Government.
