The world is in so much trouble I really want to help more.

I have had severe schizophrenia for a long time, and not been able to get enough sleep, but I might finally be coming around to the time where I might work, if not 8 hours 6 hours.

I currently work at a school teaching math and do many productive things whenever I can.

Do you think I should get a job with more hours?

Do you think I should straight out go independent?

Should I wait for a job safety net from Biden for the disabled first?

I would just stay focused and take things incrementally. Not good if you end up feeling overloaded.

Go little bits at a time. Instead of rushing out and seeking full time employment, perhaps part time at first? Or even taking on a little bit of volunteer work before that, just to see how you handle it, and to get an idea of how much you can take on.

Do what you feel is best, that you can cope with and build on it and the very best of luck.

I'm thinking if the economy opens up, I should go for a part time job and that will be timed about right and if Joe Biden helps me with a safety net for schizophrenia (which will just about be over by then) I go independent.

If you're good at teaching math you could always tutor. You could pretty much set your own hours.
I should think with the schools closed there would be a hot market for tutors.

I would not put too much faith in Joe Biden. No President gets everything he wants and some get very little. If there is a sane health care system that is at least as good as other nations comes out, that's wonderful.

So instead I echo what others have written about what makes sense.

By the way some advice for you guys if in my situation, straight from Rael:

Don't waste time to be happy. If you are in the process to get happy you might not be when you get there. Take happiness in accomplishments I would say, but enjoy the journey.
