just for fun and perspective.....let's run the numbers
Trump got 73.6 million votes
Biden got 79million
in total....more people voted than in previous 120years
Actually that's a good thing provided its our own citizens.just for fun and perspective.....let's run the numbers

Votes don't count. Only electoral votes count in the end. That must be changed or the sore will continue weeping.
Of course. It's not the least bit surprising that the american people really didn't want another disasterous four years with a total garbage administration.just for fun and perspective.....let's run the numbers

A faithless elector is one that goes back on his work and instead of voting for the candidate that he was pledged to vote for he (or she) voted for someone else. Its strange.
An elector ought to be representative of the states popular vote. Only thing is the issue of faithless electors and where an elector needs to cast his own personal choice.
Makes me wonder how that works. Does he vote twice? One for himself and then one for the state voters?

There could have been even more, if Trump's phone-call to Georgia had worked. Yeah?just for fun and perspective.....let's run the numbers

Don't forget the 2.9 million voters who chose neither Biden nor Trump...making the "NOT TRUMP" vote 84.2 million...the margin is then 10 million votes...
That's the weirdness of our system. Trump and some others on the right keep emphasizing how many voted for Trump...as if 10 million more hadn't voted for Biden and others...Doesn't the Electoral College make this view wonky?
I voted for neither but all the votes in my state went to Biden regardless.
There's a proposal to fix the electoral college since we can't repeal it. And that fix is to go to a by congressional district vote rather than winner-take-all.Its strange.

There is another one that uses the current electoral college program but guarantees that the winner of the popular vote gets the electoral college votes of all of the states that sign on. Once the total electoral votes of states that signed the agreement hits 270 the pact goes into effect:There's a proposal to fix the electoral college since we can't repeal it. And that fix is to go to a by congressional district vote rather than winner-take-all.
