How will you experience the joy of being in heaven knowing that your loved one has chosen a spiritual path apart from your own?

Will it bother you while you with god that you will never see your loved one?

Ideally, loved ones (say wife and wife) would want what's best for their spouse even if it means the other has chosen a path that differs from their mate. Once the couple accepts this fact, that doesn't mean both wives don't care for each other's wellbeing. It just means the former would be in heaven without her spouse.

How will you experience the joy of being in heaven knowing that your loved one has chosen a different spiritual path apart from your own?

Will you forget about your loved once once you're in god's love?

Why would I want to go to heaven if the people that I love and consider to be kind and moral people are banned from going there? I wouldn't. Just like I wouldn't have any desire to get into an exclusive country club that told me my loved ones weren't acceptable enough to be allowed to join.

I had a dream one night where the love of God was poured out on me. It was so immense it paled the love I have for my wife. Because we don't comprehend the capacity of that love, we cannot understand the power that it has.

Revelation 21:4
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

I believe that after the good cry, after the wiping away of the tears, the love of God will heal all.

Nice. Do you believe your wife may join you in heaven?

Is crying your way to reconcile (if you do reconcile?) loosing your wife for eternity for god's love instead?

I'm having difficulty understanding the purpose of your question, which is why I asked for clarification. The very first thought that popped into my mind upon reading it is why would I even want to go to such a place? What would prompt me to follow a path that will lead me somewhere where I know my loved ones won't be welcome?

I know this sounds off, but not every question is appropriate to the person who reads it. I don't believe in heaven myself, but something tipped me when reading another post recently. How can someone enjoy heaven knowing that their loved ones are not with them? How does their love for god and god's love so powerful that they would leave their loved one even in tears or empathy? Things like that.

Though whys aren't always necessary for questions with many other exceptions of course.

Now wait just a cotton-pickin' minute!! The deal was "until death do you part." There was nothing in the vows about any afterlife commitment.

Once I kick the bucket, I'm a free agent!!

My comment was intended to make light of the standardized version of marriage vows and how they might pertain to the concept of a place called heaven.

I personally don't believe heaven exists as a place. I've said more than a few times that heaven is a state of mind. One needn't wait to die to be there.

I find only people like those mentioned at Luke 22:28-30; Daniel 7:18; Revelation 2:10; 20:6 are called to heavenly life.
Thus, leaving the majority of people right here on Earth.
They have two (2) jobs to do according to Revelation 5:9-10
(1) They serve as Kings with Christ governing over the people of Earth
(2) They serve as Priests taking care of spiritual duties towards those people who inherit the Earth, inherit 'everlasting life' on Earth.
Those ' heavenly brothers' of Christ experience the joy of helping Jesus to help all on Earth to the right spiritual path to remain on it or to get on it.

Adam was never offered wife Eve to be in Heaven just as Heaven was never offered to Adam.
Adam chose suicide ( deliberately choosing to disobey God ) apparently Adam did Not want to be without wife Eve.
Instead of choosing God's love that God would somehow take care of matters, Adam took matters into his own hands.
We can read about the bad consequences of Adam's choosing Eve over his God.
