I agree with the goal of human flourishing. I don’t believe in cooperation just for the sake of cooperation in every situation though... just to go with the flow and not make any waves. Sometimes the societal goals are harmful and need to be challenged. We still need independent thinking to question things rather than just being passive pawns. It’s not beneficial to human flourishing for everybody to just become submissive, spineless drones in some collective hive mind.
I don't see cooperation as being submissive or spineless. I'm not sure why you do.

I just mean cooperating with the wrong societal goals or being submissive to an authoritarian without questioning things. Cooperation for the right reasons is essential though.
