According to the scriptures in the Greek Septuagint, the enemy of the Almighty Heavenly Father is a former angel of heaven, Beelzebub, who is known as "Devil" and "Satan". In the book of Revelation (Apocalypse), Michael the Arch Angel battles with this angel and the enemy angels partners but they get defeated and then cast out of heaven.

The Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society believe that one who is both Satan and Devil is in control of many peoples thoughts.

Sometimes I wonder where the Governing Body gets their ideas. Oh wait, they're anointed and are getting messages from God himself. So that's the connection...

You are absolutely correct. This guy has definitley got an axe to grinde with us and is on a mission on this board to implant in everybodies' heads that we are evil, mind-controlling individuals who wants this world to be destroyed.

MODS: Is this kind of anti-JW (or any religion) even allowed? I'm all for free speech on these boards, but I mean, pretty much "t3gah's" every post and every thread of his has winded down to some anti-JW propaganda of some sort - and he will continue to do so - watch for yourself.

If this was watchtower.org or jw-media.org you can say what kind of sandcastle I can build in your sandbox, but since I have done nothing except post material that is given away to people, etc., etc. I don't see what appealing to the moderators or the admin's will accomplish. I posted things and people responded to them. I didn't get any warnings from any of my posts. If I get them now then I will know that this forum is not really an open discussion where you discuss, discover or learn things.

People stated that there are inaccuracies with the information I posted. There is no way of verifying that from the information supplied with the documents except where it's been stated. The Watchtower Bible & Tract Society has made errors in the past. I merely reiterated what was said since I can neither confirm nor deny that what they, the readers know over what was posted other than the what's on the documents. You can do a search with your Watchtower Library CD-ROM, providing you have one and see the articles I choose.

And by the way, I have not been disfellowshipped. I'm on the inactive list.

So what is your purpose of posting all this then? For the fun? What do you wish to inform everybody on this forum about JW? Why don't you discuss other topics? Why do you ALWAYS have to wind down to something like "I have no idea where the governing body get their info from..."

BTW, you are not inactive - you already have said that you an "ex-JW". You neither share JW beliefs: "The anointed are not anointed" "The Governing body is a group of old men controlling them" "All their publications don't contain references" "I gave all my publications back and dumped it outside their kingdom hall" - and many more other quips.

I don't have any problem whatsoever with you quoting from the Watchtower CD or NWT in the slightest...but you are clearly not using them in the correct context and in some cases, you summarize them and then promptly contradict them right after.

Quoting from our publications and then inserting a quip on how it is all false is not a fair way to summarize an entire religion - or any religion for that matter.

As a retired mod, I can say that this board does reflect a market place of ideas essential to the promise of religious freedom. However difficult ideas may be to an individual, or even if wrong, only other ideas may be levied against them. Oppression of ideas is not an option but presentation of another "truth" is.

I personally find religion (that man-made concept of organized faith) is fraught with error but I would no more censor t3gah's ideas as I would yours.

One man's heresy is another man's tenet of faith. How is an outsider to condemn one over the other?

I've always had sympathy for the Devil. And it took me a few years to realize it, but God doesn't mind one bit! :cool:

You give them in the little box at the top of the posts that says 'frubals', if you think someone's post is deserving for whatever reason (ie. they made a particularly good point, or made you snort coffee out your nose) you can frubal them.

Not quite, because you are ultimately a kind soul and were being honest.

This person seems to be either mocking us in his presentation of things or JWs. Either way... it doesn't make me very happy.

Tiggah, why not state your beef with JW's rather than all this low sneaking around. All religions have thier good and bad points and while JWism isn't my brand of faith I think that your methods are sorely lacking. I have read the watchtower and other such JW publications and while I don't agree with thier POV, I see no differnce between thier propaganda and that of any other organized religion.
Pretending to be something that you are not in order to insite dislike in others is IMHO a bit tasteless.
