Kanye West was on the ballot in my state. I thought about voting for him, but I didn't know much about him except that he was a famous singer. Pretty cool though to see a famous singer on the ballot. I liked that.

If you could pick a famous person for the ballot, who would it be?

I think I'd pick JP from the AwakenwithJP comedy series on youtube. In fact most of the youtube stars should be candidates for office. I'd also pick Kate McKennon from SNL, because she can be whichever politician we need.

I find myself quite burnt out by the US election and I’m not even American

I suspect it is more difficult for high IQ people than for regular ones and also for people who's teeth don't fit together perfectly. As for me when I clench my teeth they are near perfect fits for one another, and I think this saves me numerous headaches. Some people are not so lucky.

I went and voted a few hours ago, and actually found I am quite passionate about one job on the ballot...sheriff. I think I am more anxious about that seat than any other...

My city really needs some care...

Are you angry, joyful, worried, excited, pessimistic,
or emotionally invested in your candidate winning?
This thread is not for you. Stay out.

I'm all meh about these two beef-witted geezers.
Who else is just enduring the politics, campaigning,
& antics preceding the upcoming election?

Here's a toast to enjoying brand new controversies
& political wrangling...

I'm annoyed with myself because I forgot to bring my mail in ballot with me when I left my place today.

Might still be able to get it in the mail before the deadline.

So all it takes to be mistaken for having high IQ in Americanstan is indifference to the election?
Hmmm, interesting.

I was undecided all the way to the voting booth. I stood there for a few minutes and went back and forth between Jorgensen and Hawkins. The Green Party aligns with my policies almost 100%. But Hawkins is a joke, not to mention the means that got him the nomination. Jorgensen...has the BEST foreign policy and criminal justice reform policies, I can't get behind her health care policy.

So, living in a swing state, I wrote in the BEST person I felt is the only one capable of facing today's crisis's...Jessie Ventura.

Jesse is too busy.
He doesn't even have time to bleed.

You and I disagree on some social issues, but mostly agree on most foreign and economic issues. I wrote in Jessie Ventura simply because he stated he doesn't want to be President! Coming from the military, the best leaders were ALWAYS the ones who didn't want the job. If you have 10 minutes...
