Question:
What is the single MOST IMPORTANT teaching in the bible?
I find Jesus answers at Luke 10:27 to Love God with all of your heart, soul, strength and mind....
This to me is also why Jesus says to worship his God at John 4:23-24.

Probably the most important thing I've learned in the Bible is that Jesus has two different lineages through Joseph's side when one compares Matthew and Luke. That's pretty miraculous.

I appreciate all the comments from the Bible. They are all good of course because it is God's word! I of course can't do any better than Jesus Christ. When he was asked something similar:

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”  He said to him: “‘You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.’  This is the greatest and first commandment.  The second, like it, is this: ‘You must love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets.”-Matthew 22:36-40.

Jesus was showing the real meaning behind the law. It was about showing compassion, empathy, and most of all love, love of God, and love of your fellow man or woman.

Jesus was quoting from Deuteronomy where it says (as well as other scriptures):

"You must love Jehovah your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your strength."-Deuteronomy 6:5.

I enjoy the following verses as well:

"These words that I am commanding you today must be on your heart, 7 and you must inculcate them in your sons and speak of them when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road and when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as a reminder on your hand, and they must be like a headband on your forehead. 9 Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates."-verses 6-9.

A parent is commanded to inculcate the word of God into their child's heart. The father is not only to provide materially, but also emotionally, and most importantly spiritually for his family. But before a parent can inculcate a love of God in their child's heart, they first most love God. And then by their speech, and conduct, the faith and love they show their children will be moved to serve God as well even as the Proverb says:

Train a boy in the way he should go;
Even when he grows old he will not depart from it.

-Proverbs 22:6.

Question:

What is the single MOST IMPORTANT teaching in the bible?
Ecclesiastes 12:13
When all is said and done, this one thing remains: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole of man.

Question:

What is the single MOST IMPORTANT teaching in the bible?
For God so loved the world He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

For my perspective believing in and trusting Jesus Christ as Savior is the most important message of the Bible and the theme throughout the scriptures, because eternity is a very long time. One’s response to Jesus Christ is the most important decision of life.

MOST IMPORTANT INFO OF THE BIBLE:

Mankind is fallible and forgiven.

Perhaps it is because we were made in the image of God, and God is not the perfect entity that we have been told. Does perfection ignore prayer and suffering? Does perfection make a planet of poop? Stink? Animals eating other animals while they are alive and screaming? God allowed Christ to die a horrible and tortured death.

Perhaps we need to forgive God?

Phew! For a moment there I thought you were going to ask me something hard.

The most important teaching in the bible is Ecclesiastes 9 ─

4. He who is joined with all the living has hope, for a living dog is better than a dead lion.

5. For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward; but the memory of them is lost.

6. Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and they have no more for ever any share in all that is done under the sun. [...]

10. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or thought or knowledge or wisdom in Sheol, to which you are going.

Which is a moot point given that the Christian "god" is claimed to be the real "father" of Jesus.

Is it a moot point, though? It's interesting that the folks who wrote those books would be so concerned with legitimizing the lineage Jesus has through a father that isn't his father. Why even include it? More Interesting still is that these divinely inspired books conflict with each other.

I realize the gospels offer different views on events given that they were written by different people, but when two sources offer two different sets of straight information, they both can't be true.

Just a thought that I have...

That is just one of the many problems concerning the Jesus myth.
