If you want to consider yourself to have educated me on what some people may think in some context. Well done.

That responder doesn't sound very aware either. That is the sort of response that one sees from some who have no knowledge of the subject of the question. Where in their response, they repeat adjectives and nouns in the question, adding no substantive content.

Yep. So in your world, when someone says "some", its sidestepping right?

Nah, I don't worship myself. What is it?

I think you're asking for how it would be done; well one of the ways to do it is: Try putting a photo of yourself on an altar (e.g. a shelf). You could also try a buddha (contradictory to use a buddha for the higher "self"?), a white dove (Holy Spirit), the yin-yang, the Dryghten, the "I AM Presence", etc. Whatever image is right for you that symbolizes your own spirit or higher self.

Then look at the symbol and ask things from it as if you were talking to your own eternal self. You can do it mentally, no need to speak loudly. You might need some meditation and purification to achieve something (your own mind will put obstacles; fear, guilt, etc). Some sort of spiritual protection is also a must when you're just starting. You can also light candles to yourself, repeat affirmations, etc. Be careful not to worship your own body. Remember the object of devotion is your spirit/atma.

But mind you, managing directly, just with your own higher self as a god, is hard for most people.
