Lion kills, ghost also kill. Which one is more scary ? If Ghost, then why ? Does lion eat without giving pain ?

Kindly note: please do refrain posting in this thread if you don't believe in ghosts.

I don't like the idea of being eaten.

As for ghosts, they may kill you, but it will probably be in a cool Hollywood style way with you flying through the air.

Lions are more scary for me.

They're two different kinds of fear.

Fear of the lion is fear of the known.

Getting the creeps is fear that something unknown but fearful is nearby ─ a useful survival response at night.

Lions will only kill you if you act stupid. "Ghosts" will only kill you if you act really stupid. Both aren't scary. I'm not on their regular menu. Mosquitoes on the other hand ...

Do you like killing flying through the air ? Lions also jump very high, if needed ? :)

Lions are real. They are predators. They like to kill primates like us.

Ghosts are, I think, unreal, a figment of our imaginations.

So lions are much more scary.

Neither lions, nor ghosts, for me it is fear of falling.
I love mountains, but I have basophobia and sorry for it.

I have never heard of someone being killed by a ghost
Lion attack is more common.

We do not have lions in Norway, and i am not afraid of ghosts.

What to do.....

What's difference ? any example ? :)
Lions usually stay away from humans. You just have to watch their behaviour and try not to look like an easy snack or a threat. The stupid thing to do would be to fear a lion and run, thus triggering their hunting instinct.
The stupid thing to do with ghosts is to believe in them. The really stupid thing to do with ghosts is to fear them and die of a heart attack or run from them and fall to your death.

Trainee sky-diver asked trainer while on a dive; shall I open the parachute, now ? he said; just wait for few more meter to come the earth closer. Upon 100 meters he asked the same question again -- he replied with the same answer once again. Upon 2 meters he asked the same question again -- he replied; can't you jump from just 2 meters ? :)

The OP has underneath it that we're trapped by fear of this or that. I'd rather focus on being how this poem by Rosemary Harris put it:

My companion is fear
Walking behind me like a shadow.
He sees obstacles where none are,
He knows death as disintegration,
He comes from hell to cherish me
Saying 'turn right,' 'turn left,'
'Look, there is a lion in the road
And no resurrection.'

Yet I will make my torturer
My dear companion.
For in acceptance he grows honest,
Showing that a skeleton is only bones
And one moment no longer than another
And pain only sensation
Like the color of the rose,
Less than the falling of a leaf.

See, I shall turn my head,
Diminish him with pity,
Kill him with understanding
Even love . . .
Looking him in the eye
I shall observe his dwindling
Because he is only a shadow
Lost between me and the sun.
