Americans killed in Iraq memorial page

I keep reading about the war and just wanted to make sure others could see this if they needed to. It is a memorial for American troops killed in Iraq and Afganistan. It is currently updated to Nov 11th. They are in my thoughts and prayers.

Everyone everywhere that has email should send them this which is from almighty God...

I just have one question: Are there any memorial pages dedicated to the innocent men, women and children that have died needlessly in Irag and Afganistan since the onslaught of this war? (I'm not being snarky, I'd really like to know).

This commandment was specifically referring to unjust premeditated murder. It is not against war, capital punishment, or killing in self-defense.

While I'm not positive about this I would have to say that no there is not. The Iraqi government is in such a mess that they probably wouldn't spend the time and money trying to keep track of their dead. Plus, the U.S. does not conduct body counts on enemy combatants and civilians.

First off it's thou shalt not murder.
Though it is regretable, killing during war is acceptable.

Prayers for an end to all this conflict and deaths, woundings for life, killing of the innocent..and for the families that are left to suffer the losses...Prayers for the people in command that they find a solution soon and we get our troops back safe and sound...prayers that Osama is found and brought to justice for the families of 9-11 and this country so that healing can hopefully begin...prayers are what we have that we can give and prayers are a gift from us to those that need them the most.:162: May God watch over them all!

Matthew 5:43
"You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor, and hate your enemy.'

Matthew 5:44
But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,

Matthew 5:45
that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.

According to Jesus War is not condoned. Basically pray for everyone since they are all neighbors.

1 death is a tragedy...

It really boggles me how the US can claim to be a Christian nation, but can't even get the 'turn the other cheek' part down. :areyoucra

Let's remember this is in the Prayer forum, any more off-topic comments and I'll have to move or close the thread.

Perhaps moving it to another more appropriate forum is in order since this is a sensitive subject.:)
