How many souls was on the ark?

1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21 ¶ The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:

We know there were many animals on the ark, yet only eight souls were saved.

This number shows there is a difference between animals and humans.

I believe I will take them one a t a time:

Ecc. 3:19 does not say that beasts go to Heaven. It says they die.

Human and animal deaths do not differ. We all have the same spirit/life force (breath of life) that energizes us; and, we return to dust.-Genesis 2:7; 3:19; 6:17; 7:15, 22.

Electricity is a comparative analogy: It is invisible and allows the continued function of equipment dependant on electricity; but, once the flow stops, the item it was operating in also stops/dies.

I believe animals do not have a soul.
