You said.. Updates wouldn't hurt, given the nature of some of the old stuff. I believe it's been done.
Note says.. please do refrain posting in this thread if you think that you well understand the stuff you are interested in.
I have no idea how you drew that conclusion. Oh well. Now that you ask though, I will refrain from posting in this thread, since you insisted. I;m not here to make people angry.

Hence, it desperately needs to write fresh stuff for this 21st century.
But, I think there's NO one who needs this desperately.
Is there any single person you know?
I am sure, someone somewhere is currently writing a new message from God / Allah, whether it is needed or not is besides the question.
The prophets / sons / messengers / manifestations / mahdis do not first ask people before they reveal the message from God / Allah.
In India, there are always such people. The recent examples are Gurmeet Ram Rahim, Ram Lal, the absconding Godmen Virendra Dev Dikshat and Nithiyananda.

"God" has never written anything. People write things in God's name, and we hope, then, with God's spirit in their hearts and minds. So with that being understood, "God's message" is constantly being updated. We just have to filter out those messages written under false pretenses of divine inspiration.

I can't wait to read it!! I'm actually putting the date in my calendar so I can remind you to share it with us!!

You downplay your true excitement with too few exclamation marks. Don't worry though as I'll have it done well before that deadline, and then you can toss your old bibles, korans, etc. in the trash.

And how does one do that? My filtered items may not match with those of yours. That means what God writes is to be subjectively understood by the people. That is what makes God's system of sending messages so faulty. His various messages have only brought misery to people. Pagans have suffered, and so have Jews, Christians, Muslims, Bahais, Ahmadiyyas, and so have Hindus and Buddhists. Wish he would stop that.
Don't worry, I'm working on it.

Did I not say that? I knew it. You are not alone. A few other people also must be doing it.

You are assuming that the goal is individual uniformity. I think the goal is individual authenticity. The fact that we each have to interpret "God's messages" for ourselves, and weed out the false ones is what makes the "system" able to function for everyone. The goal is not to produce automatons. It's to enable us to 'create ourselves'. To fulfill our own determined destiny.

Angry men worship angry gods. Jealous men worship jealous gods. Greedy men worship greedy gods. And loving men worship loving gods. In this way "God" enables each to choose and fulfill their own natures. As a truly loving (so I believe) God would.

Back in the day when I thought I was a prophet or the second-coming of Jesus (I was quite mad) I thought I'd have to write a thing called The Third Testament, to bring scripture up to date...

I'm not going to do that now though, I know that I lack the spiritual authority to do so

And I know I could do it anyway, just for fun, but if nobody would take it seriously what would be the point?

Good point.

I agree. There is plenty available. Good verses, bad verses. All can choose the ones they prefer, and interpret it the way they like;)

The ones who are really "desperate for God", won't take verses from old books, they ask God directly and get the latest updates:D

The first question I'd ask is which religions are from him. I'd prefer to do so privately though because who knows how some faiths would react if he answered they weren't from him.

My second question would be, I want some clarification on what God think of transgender people after the confusions on the matter I feel there are in one of the Abrahamic faiths.
I was just wondering, how you would like God to answer, by fire, smoke or lightning... because if he answered like a man - by words, who would believe him anyway.
Most people would probably say, "Who? That imposter?"

Since, none of us bear witness to this, what is more likely?

1) A God or Gods wrote on rocks or
2) Humans wrote on rocks?
Since, both Humans and God have messages for their people.

If the message is from God -- Godman wrote.
If the message is from human -- Human wrote.

I'd prefer he come in human manifestation but do at least one miracle to prove he's who he says.

Was that not done already?
You won't be able to tell God from Adam (I remember there was a film like that).

Some believe. Some don't.
(John 10:31-33) 31 Once again the Jews picked up stones to stone him. 32 Jesus replied to them: “I displayed to you many fine works from the Father. For which of those works are you stoning me?” 33 The Jews answered him: “We are stoning you, not for a fine work, but for blasphemy; for you, although being a man, make yourself a god.”

(Luke 19:37-40) 37 As soon as he got near the road down the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and to praise God with a loud voice because of all the powerful works they had seen, 38 saying: “Blessed is the one coming as the King in Jehovah’s name! Peace in heaven, and glory in the heights above!” 39 However, some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to him: “Teacher, rebuke your disciples.” 40 But in reply he said: “I tell you, if these remained silent, the stones would cry out.”

Jesus did more than one miracle, and many did not believe him.
Why do you think you would?

In an another debate somebody made a claim that old-stuffs (holy books) written by God in the past are too hard to understand clearly in this current times. Hence, it desperately needs to write fresh stuff for this 21st century.
...

I think it is more about that modern people don’t like the old message, therefore they want new one to replace it. And if God doesn’t change His mind, people make new god for themselves to be worshiped.
