"Good Omens" - Amazon mini series

This is a great mini-series if you have a good sense of humor. It starts with the premise that the Bible is accurate including the Garden of Eden and the snake. But it takes that premise and twists it around and upside down because the snake and an angel stay in human form for all of human history and are no longer what they started out to be. They've "gone native" to a degree.

They representing somewhat good and somewhat evil team up to try to prevent Armageddon in spite of heaven and hell both wanting the war to end everything. There are some really funny bits and twists. One is how they handle the number of the beast:

As an archangel here before judgement day, the humour was korny'ism; it could have been much darker, some bits were very witty, and highly recommend the series.

It's knowledge on the Anti-Christ is upside down, as it is taken unknowingly from false texts within the Bible (which were made Antichrist to begin); yet other than that, it presents a good case for some of the religious hypocrisies.

In my opinion.

Good TV adaptation, but the book far, far better

I read the book so long ago I was unable to compare it to the show when I watched it. It was an enjoyable viewing, however.
