Not necessarily. I waste time on things that are entertaining. Just means it is not necessarily productive time.
Actually you totally missed to understand what I want to convey with my OP, Neither am making any kind of prediction.
When you do your calculations are you not making a prediction of profit or loss?

Isn't the wastage of time a LOSS ?
Isn't that you want to save your precious time ? isn't saving precious time equal to PROFIT ?

If I have invested my precious time doing that verification.
Nope... if my concern was my 'precious time' then I wouldn't bother wasting any of it attempting to verify anything... I'd simply accept it all on face value.

Again, "you may receive some benefit from your belief" does not imply "you came to this belief because you calculated the benefit."
And it's doubly unconvincing to argue "they believe this because they want the reward" when they might not actually believe it; they might just be saying it because they know they'll get the reward if they do.

Entertainment gives us energy for another day on Job/Work.
No am NOT interested in doing predictions, and that because I find LOSS in making predictions because I very well know that my predictions are based on nothing.
But, on the other hand I do like making guesses based on my observations and experiences. Yes, even my guesses also get untrue, but, NOT all of them.
And, of course I find PROFIT in making guesses because I think.. the more I make, the more I learn.

Guesses are just predictions with a lot less certainty involved. IOW the point of my post, I'd rather not guess.
Our current president may think this way, but I don't. Caring for others is a big incentive to not cause suffering to others.

Sometimes evil CALCULATIONS are heavier, whereas on the other times good CALCULATIONS are heavier on the person.

I don't think there are such things as evil and good except as abstract philosophical concepts. Suffering is the key thing; whether you inflict suffering upon other conscious creatures.
Do you mean that the brain processes that lead to behavior and consciousness are calculations of the neural network of the brain? Certainly they are the result of the functioning of the brain, whether it is technically calculation or not -- who knows?

It's quite understood that there might be some kind of PROFIT that you have seen in becoming an atheist. What is that ? I want to learn from you.

There was no calculation before self-discovery, either.
As I researched, investigated, lived, I came to the belief that God was so huge that this small planet and everything on it was not even of notice........ so I came to the conclusion that I am not a Theist.
So I am a non-Theist, a Deist........ almost an atheist, but those bloomin' atheists won't let me join their club.
Where's the profit for me? Atheists won't let me in their club, and Theists won't let me in their club. And Deism covers such a huge variety of mindsets that most Deists could think I'm nuts as well.
