(Christians only) Did Jesus Dead on the Cross has Put an End to God's Law?

URAVIP2ME

My friend are you ignoring Jesus words? Read Matthew 5:17
The only thing that you must see now, is Matthew 24.

Right, Jesus did fulfill the Law - Matthew 5:17; Paul agrees Galatians 4:4-5; Romans 10:4. so I am Not ignoring Jesus' words.
Any comments about Luke 16:16 ____________

In Matthew 24th chapter I see both a 'minor' and a MAJOR fulfillment.
The MAJOR is for our day or time frame - Luke 21:11.

Matthew 5:17-18

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

What does it mean that Jesus fulfilled the law, but did not abolish it? | GotQuestions.org

Well it's evidence that you have no clue or idea what law Jesus Christ is referring to in Matthew 5:3-19.
And it sure isn't the 10 commandment law
either.
If you were to read Matthew 5:3-19.
and then notice in Verse 19. Jesus Christ speaking, saying. "Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments"

What least commandments?

The ones Jesus Christ just given back in Verses 3-16. These being the law of the kingdom of heaven.

My friend Jesus are referring to nothing. Jesus is teaching the people and the apostles how to live a perfect live before God. The Bible interpreted itself. Jesus mean what He says. Jesus don't let us with doubt by assuming something that He says. Satan is the one that let people take their mind of the word of God the same way he did it with Eve in the garden. If Jesus says don't think or think not! I OBEY Him. He is my master not an other teaching against Jesus Words. Did the earth and the heavens has PASSED away? NO! So think NOT that I have come to destroy or abolish the LAWS of my Father. Don't dare think it. But satan says: " don't worry Jesus don't mean what He says. Just ignore Him let me tell you, the laws is done on the cross it is finished, go lived your live you are free. One times safe and you will be safe forever. Just believe in him, don't worry I know Jesus better than everyone follow men's teachings"

Read it carefully and think which verses is the most important for you. Because the same Paul again is cursing people like he did in Galatians 1:1-10. Open your eyes my friend. Because satan don't let me stay here for long. He knows me very well.

The majority of Christians denominations thinking that Jesus dead on the cross has put an end to the Father God Law. Is this true? Is this teaching BIBLICAL?

That statement is an impossibility.

God’s laws are pure, eternal, just.
-Psalm 19

But you have to define what you mean by "Law".

The Mosaic law is not necessarily God's eternal law.

Jesus replied, "Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because your hearts were hard. But it was not this way from the beginning.
-Matthew 19

For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
-Galatians 5

God's perfect law is eternal and unchanging.

But the Mosaic law is merely a reflection of how Moses translated God's perfect law into a set of rules for an imperfect society to abide by so that it will minimize the amount of harm that might come to them.

You see, Moses couldn't simply write: "Love your neighbor as yourself" and closed the book there. Because he knew that few were capable or willing to do that. So by itself it would have been ineffective as a set of national laws.

The rules in the Mosaic law are meant to point us towards God's eternal law but aren't necessary what God's ideal would look like.

So you have to differentiate what you are talking about.
Are you talking about God's eternal law or the Mosaic law?

The thing is that even though aspects of the Mosaic law may no longer apply, Christ actually calls us to a higher standard than the Mosaic law to live according to God's eternal law of loving God and others, right action, and purity from sin.

The mosaic law commanded you to tithe 10% to the priests. The early Christians gave away everything to the church.

How can we do that? By the power of the Holy Spirit speaking us God's will and empowering us to live it out.
Without the Holy Spirit it couldn't be done.

Because the people of Israel rejected sharing in communion with God the way Moses did, all Moses could do was offer them a set of societal rules to live by that would help safeguard them from the descent into national sin and judgement. But without the Holy Spirit they couldn't do even that.

So if you think any aspect of the Mosaic law is done away with, you should actually be asking what living according to the underlying principles behind those laws looks like by the leading and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

And since Christ always calls the church higher than the Mosaic law, you cannot use the passing away of the mosaic law as an excuse to justify and enable sinful behavior.

Moses represents the Torah = The Law. The prophets represent the Bible. Look again what Jesus have said. Don't THINK, but you are thinking the opposite what Jesus have said. Stop fighting Jesus. You and nobody can twist God's Words aslong there are true BIBLICAL servants that trust only to the WORDS in the Bible.
Speak something about what Paul have said in Galatians 1:1-10. And also Romans 8:4,7. You are silent there. Why? Because you cannot keep the seventh day Sabbath of the Lord. What Paul says that you are in Romans 8:7? And that is the truth.
Moderator remember that it isn't me that has said that words! It is Paul. If Paul is against rule 8, banner him.

Who exactly said anything about sin.
And what does that have to do with
Matthew 5:3-19..

In reading Matthew 5:3-19.
If had notice in verse 19 saying.
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments"

The least for you I don't know what it is. The least for God maybe is the lust of other people things. Don't let just one word in the whole scriptures let you think, what God means not what He says. All the problems here is obeying what Jesus says. Jesus says don't think. But you are still thinking the opposite.
Still you don't have answered my question.
What about Romans 8:4,7? And again listen what the Same Paul says: Galatians 1:1-10

Its evidence what Jesus Christ is talking about.

So the question is..
What least commandments?

My friend, what was nailed on the cross was only the sacrifices. They were shadows waiting till Jesus has come. The laws stay forever till Jesus returns to take us to heaven with Him. Read the book of Hebrews completely. And also read John 14:1-3
What was nailed to the cross was literally the body of Jesus Christ and so He died to the Law. Jesus is the sacrifice.

He abolished the enmity by abolishing the flesh with it's desires and carnality. For which carnality; the Law of Moses was given to keep it in check until the Savior came. Now if you are risen with Christ you are "dead to the law" and so you live by another law. Which Law is the law that gives life after death. The river of life that flows from the throne of God to restore the wilderness and make it like the garden of Eden. (bearing the fruit of the Spirit) The complete law of liberty. Because Jesus is the Word of Life and He is the command of God which is eternal life. (psalm 133:3, Isaiah 28:16)

In Jesus shadows are done away because He is the Light of Life and so the "shadow of death" is passed. God said "let there be Light" and that is the light of God in the darkness of the world. Jesus Christ. "And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not."

Jesus goes to prepare a place for you. He will prepare you. Because you're supposed to be the house of God. Which is why it takes so long for Jesus to build that place. Because we are the building of God. So God waits with long suffering for people to repent and so that the holy Spirit's work can be perfected within them. Then they will be a fit dwelling place fulfilling all the desire of the Spirit of God.

As for Matthew 5:20-48..starts a whole different subject than Matthew 5:1-19 is about.
After Jesus Christ had given what is called the beatitudes in verses 3-16 then Jesus Christ said in verse 19,
"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments"

Therefore verses 20 -48
Jesus Christ starts a different subject..

You are completely wrong. When Jesus starting to speak about the laws, is after Matthew 5:1-12, then 5:13-16 and least is about the laws. This part has nothing to do to the other teachings.

Matthew 5:17-20
17. The books of LAWS, and the PROPHETS. Meanings: LAWS: The 5 books of Moses. Prophets: The BIBLE.
18. The earth and the heavens are still today. And one day it will be destroyed with the fire of heaven.
19. If we DON'T KEEP. And if we KEEP.
2O.If we DON'T KEEP, better than the pharisees and the DOCTOR OF LAW. WE CANNOT ENTER GOD'S KINGDOM.
The Bible interpreted itself my friend.
The problem is that nobody let the Bible guide them. They are following men's teachings. It is a FEW that open their heart and mind for Jesus to entered and clean up the wrong doctrine from the tradition of men.

Answer this question. If Jesus says think not, or don't think. Are going against Jesus Word? Yes or No? If it is no, read Matthew 5:17-18

Jesus says here in Matthew 5:17-18 that this law(the Law of Moses) is in effect "till heaven and earth pass away" ...

But in Matthew 24:35 Jesus says "heaven and earth will pass away but my words shall not pass away"

So you can set your hopes on this present earth or the one that is to come which is founded on something much more substantial. That is specifically that Jesus Christ Himself is the chief cornerstone and the "sure foundation" of a new heaven and a new earth. For all old things are passing away and vanishing. (Hebrews 8:13) And all things are made new in Jesus Christ. For heaven and earth will be burned up and the elements will melt when He returns.

So we consider the substance of our foundations. Jesus said "let the dead bury the dead" and so it is. And the angels asked "why do you seek for the living among the dead?"

And what is the "new Covenant"? It is this:

"Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."

So Christians should consider themselves dead to this world. To this present heaven and this earth and they should consider themselves citizens (Ephesians 2:19) of the new Jerusalem and the new heaven and the new earth. For they are risen with Jesus Christ and sit in heavenly places with Him.

Because when Jesus rose from the dead that was when God laid that stone in Zion as He promised. "Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation:"

God also said:

But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.

So He promised a day when He would make Jerusalem Himself and so it begins with the laying of that cornerstone: Jesus Christ.

And He promises to make all things new and so it begins in Jesus Christ. Who is firstborn from the dead. And the foundation of the new heaven and the new earth.

Revelation 21:5
And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

So yes the words of Jesus Christ are faithful and true. As it is written purge out the "old leaven" for Christ our passover is already sacrificed for us! The supper is laid and He says "come and dine".

Yes, No sin in Heaven, yes, Heaven is God's home ( 1 Kings 8:39)
Jesus located or positioned his God in Heaven ' Our Father which art in Heaven......'
However, Jesus did Not teach to pray for Heaven to come, nor to go up to Heaven.
Jesus did Not teach to be ' taken up ' to the kingdom, Nor teach to be ' taken away ' to the kingdom.
Rather, Jesus taught to pray for God's kingdom ' to come.......' - (Daniel 2:44)
This is also why we are all invited to pray the invitation of Rev.22:20 for Jesus to come !
Come and bring the kingdom blessing benefit of ' healing ' for earth's nations as mentioned at Revelation 22:2
' Healing ' for earth and humanity as described at Isaiah 35th chapter.

Since the old Constitution of the Mosaic Law for the Jews ended in the first century - Romans 10:4 - then Jesus' NEW 'law' or commandment went into effect.
Jesus' NEW commandment is found at John 13:34-35.

If you think so, what about verse 20? Matthew 5:20
The Constitution of the Mosaic Law for the nation of Israel was in effect until: Pentecost.
Time frame of Matthew chapter 5 was still under the temporary law, Pentecost is Not until what gospel writer Luke wrote in Acts chapter 2.

My friend Jesus says to the apostle that the kingdom is next them and in them. That means that at that moment Jesus was with them and teaching them. And when Jesus was return to heaven, He have sent the Holy Spirit that represents Jesus Himself. That means that the Holy Spirit is Jesus own Spirit. Not an other being.
Question: Jesus says: "THINK NOT or DON'T THINK". Matthew 5:17-18. Why are you still THINKING the opposite?
We have to choose which teaching we followed. What Jesus says or what Jesus didn't say.
