Oral Sex

You are under the mistaken impression that everyone who makes money from porn or prostitution is being exploited. You refuse to be able to admit that some people enjoy sex and don't mind getting paid to do it. You refuse to be able to admit that some people enjoy sex and want other people to see them enjoying it.
You don't seem to understand that it doesn't matter what they think. They are still being used and exploited sexually, and they are still using and exploiting others, sexually, for money. Junkies are happy to trade anything they have, for drugs. And they love the high they get in return. That justifies nothing. And it changes nothing. The addiction is still destroying them, and the people profiting off that addiction are still aiding and abetting that human destruction, for their own profit.

Normalizing, rationalizing, justifying and glorifying violence or sexual use abuse and exploitation for profit is detrimental to both individuals and societies. If you don't see this I think you've already been damaged by it.

Pornography (those that aren't brutal in nature) offers none of this. There's no sexual abuse involved (they are actors) and no violence. No exploitation. So they aren't detrimental to society.

Why are people uncomfortable with sex?

Why are people uncomfortable with sex
Why, religions tend to highlight how natural and acceptable sex is within marriage. Maybe the question is not, "why are people uncomfortable with sex," but rather, why can't some people keep what happens in the bedroom, in the bedroom.

If you mean pornography, they're just actors that need to pay bills doing movies.

I'm not sure of anyone who tells their personal sex life to the public. Can you give an example of people who do that has nothing to do with career?

You exercise self control instead of doing only what you want to do.

That does not address my question regarding your comment...
The Bahá'ís do not believe in the suppression of the sex impulse but in its regulation and control.'
How do you propose to regulate the sex impulse?

Anything that harms individuals harms society because individuals are part of society.
I guess you'd have to be a religious person in order to understand how it harms individuals.

Harm is harm. It should be easy for you to say how two or three 25-year-olds having consensual sex harms anyone.

I'm beginning to understand why you chose the avatar name PureX

Puritanical do-gooders who want to regulate sex and gambling and drinking have done more harm than good.

Perhaps you remember something called prohibition? Perhaps you've heard of the damage caused by Purity Vows?

Burning of witches was also caused by people who thought they were doing God's work.

Don't gamble, drink, engage with prostitutes, and don't watch porn.

Do stop preaching about what you think other people's desires and motivations are and what they should do with those desires and motivations.

It's both.

Good people sin. They need forgiveness.

Bad people do good works. They need reward.

Most people are imbetween.

Nothing is so black and white.

Both believers and nonbelievers are judged for works--but not for eternal life. It's logical IMHO, per the Bible:

Are you, like me, morally imperfect, and you disobey your inner voice?

If there’s a Heaven or utopia . . . we can’t go! If I hurt your feelings in Heaven or vice versa, it’s not Heaven. How can imperfect people get to Heaven?

The solution is a person. The Bible explains that Jesus Christ, being God, innocent and perfect, switched places with us on the cross. He died a horrible death by torture to take our sin, guilt and shame, our imperfection. He then rose from the dead, and as the Bible says, “God loved the world in this way--He gave His Son so whoever trusts Him shall not perish but has eternal life.” (Trust is clearer than “believe” for John 3:16.) Put another way, “God made Jesus, who was perfect, to be imperfect for us, that we who are imperfect might become as perfect as God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)

A better question, I think, is why are people obsessed with sex?
I think you would find that people who are obsessed with sex are the ones uncomfortable with sex.

It wasn't someone who was comfortable with oral sex that started this thread.

Yes, God is Love. And Love is of God. Therefore, God is the God of Love. Love empowers that transformation. If you love another with the Love of God, you are on that path of transformation, whether you are gay, or straight, bi, or trans; tax-collector, prostitute, rich man, poor man, Samaritan, Greek, white, black, male, female, etc. You can be all of those, and enter into the kingdom of God, before the self-righteous, if you do the will of God, which is to Love.

The self-righteous who judges who gets to go to heaven or not, claiming they know somehow because of how they interpret scripture, are not on the path of love at all. They are on the path of self-glorification, apart from God.

God's love drew Him to the cross. This is the true power behind transformation.

You are fully correct about trusting Jesus and denying self.

Matthew 16:24-26 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Trusting Jesus is salvation. Not denying self. John 3:16, John 1:12.

I do not think they are uncomfortable, but sex is a private matter and many people do not like to talk about it on a public forum. ;)

In general. What makes the topic of sex private?

If we talked about what we are are for dinner in public and sex, what makes one more appropriate than another?

It's personal, private, and intimate. Until the pornographers and the pimps get involved with it to exploit it money. Then it becomes selfish, hedonistic, and meaningless apart from the biological climax. Just another commodity to be bought and sold for profit.

I don't know where you're getting all this from. I have nothing against human sexuality. I am only against the exploitation of it for profit.

Judaism has a purgatory type place after you die where you are purified of any sins you never repented for, and this is not a final destination for the majority of folks. There is also reincarnation so you can essentially 'try again'. In the end, most will enter the World to Come.

No. They choose to pay bills making movies. And not all people (I would even guess most, but to be certain) want to be on such business. They have been driven there by something and find it difficult to leave. But are they healthy individuals? Do you honestly think that for a woman to show her private parts to millions of people makes her feel good? One would have to be quite twisted to feel good about. And I know there are plenty of people in the sex indulsty who suffer of mental health problems. All career paths have those of course but what about the woman just doing movies to pay bills who secretly just wants to kill herself or who does drugs in order to do her job?
