Abraham and Jesus

Why so hostile when someone ask you a question?

Ohhhh, Mitty don't like to be asked questions to which he does not even have the knowledge or ability to comprehend, let alone answer.

If he did, he would have been able to answer the simple question; "How many women by the name Mary, do ‘YOU’ believe that the scriptures reveal, who were at the crucifixion, the burial, and the empty tomb of Jesus," But it appears he is not that intelligent.

Alexander the Great, also known as Alexander III, lived from July 20, 356 BC to June 10, 323 BC. He was an ancient Greek king of Macedon from 336 to 323 BC, and died some 317 years before Jesus was born in 6 B.C.

And do you know that Jesus was never convicted of any crime by the Roman Judge Pilate, who washed his hands of the innocent blood of Jesus, who was then handed over to the Jews, who had him killed because he said that he was a son of our heavenly Father. And if you believe that the Romans killed him. you might as well say that it was the gun who killed John Lennon, and not Mark David Chapman, who used the gun to kill him.
I believe Jesus was killed yes, because he told the people who he was

And who did you believe that the man Jesus was?
In my understanding Jesus was an enlighten being who come to save humanity, to teach a new spiritual teaching to save people.
Even I believe this I do not follow his teaching, but I do not doubt I will work for those who do

So what evidence do you have that the Jews executed him, and if so, why didn't they stone him to death?

And is that why Christians have persecuted Jews for the last 2000 years (Matt 27:25) culminating in the holocaust?

And what is the big deal about Jesus saying that he was "a son of our heavenly Father", which simply means that he said he was a true believer (John 1:17 Rom 8:14 2Cor 6:18 Heb 12:5 Gen 6:2). And afterall David was even his god's begotten son (Psalm 2:7) despite being an adulterous murderer who said that his love with Jonathon was more wonderful than with any of his wives and concubines (2Sam 1:26).

You have not answered the question put to You. "How many women by the name Mary, do ‘YOU’ believe that the scriptures reveal, who were at the crucifixion, the burial, and the empty tomb of Jesus," And are therefore ‘IGNORED.”

You have not answered the question put to You.
So why can't You tell us why the Jews didn't stone Jesus to death if You believe that they executed him for sedition and not the Romans, and mockingly referred to him as the "King of the Jews"?

I do not know, I am not an Roman and I was not there to ask them :)
So why was Jesus executed?
And is that why Pilate asked him if he was the King of the Jews (Mark 15:2)?
And is that why Peter denied being one of Jesus' mates to avoid being executed for sedition too (Mark 14:66-72)?

1: maybe Roman leaders heard Jesus because of his truth.
2: I do not know why Pilates asked that, again I was not there, and can not read his mind.
3: Again I can not know why Peter did what he is said to have done.

Is there a logic behind your questions?

In other words Jesus was executed for sedition because he thought that he was the rightful "King of the Jews". Which was why the genealogies in Matt 1 & Luke 3 link him to David, who was an important Jewish king who said that he was his god's begotten son (Psalm 2:6-7), and why other biblical writers plagiarised Psalm 2:7. Which is obviously why Peter denied knowing Jesus to avoid being also executed for sedition by the Romans (Mark 14:66-72).

That is your interpretation If those verses.

Have you ever actually read that story about why Jesus was executed by the Romans? If so, what is your interpretation?

And why did Jesus falsely claim to be the "King of the Jews", and is that why he was executed for sedition by the Romans, and why Peter denied knowing Jesus to avoid being executed for sedition too?

I have no interpretation of it.

I have no interpretation of it.
But have you ever read it, and if so, have you asked yourself why Jesus claimed to be the Jewish king and why Peter denied knowing Jesus to avoid also being executed, along with Jesus' other close mates?

I read it when I was a child so I have no reason to doubt the Bible. I just do not practice Christianity

Perhaps it's time to re-read it and use a bit of lateral thinking to interpret it and not just rely on the cherry-picked interpretations of evangelicals.

I have no reason to read the Bible since it is not the scripture I cultivate.
Hmmmm!!! But why are you posting on a forum about Abraham and Jesus if you have no reason to read or know anything about them?
