"And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (Saint John 8:32)

  • What is this truth to you?
  • Is the truth you have the one that other people must have as well?
  • Why is this truth important to you? What role does it play in your life?

What is this truth to you?
Just that truth is there waiting to be found.

Is the truth you have the one that other people must have as well?
nope.
My truth does not require others to believe it.

Why is this truth important to you?
Which truth?
Truth is that which can be verified.

What role does it play in your life?

Let me think on this for a bit.

  • What is this truth to you?
Jn 17v17: Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
Jn 14v6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Acts 4v12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Jn 3v3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
1Pt 1v23: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Jn 3v18: He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jn 3v36: He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

  • Why is this truth important to you? What role does it play in your life?
It is important for the above reasons and because I love people. It governs my whole life and fills my thoughts and keeps me looking for the return of my Master and Lord so that I can see His beautiful face, face to face and fall at His pierced feet and kiss His pierced hands.

in my belief, the Truth shines through in the words of the revealed Prayer, which is the rock of my faith.

i believe that this Truth is with all people, in as many form and hues as there are human hearts. i am equally at home praying with Muslims as with Christians as with Buddhists. there is something within us which responds, regardless.

this practice of prayer, of re-connecting, is how i begin my day, and it carries me through the day. and God willing, my remembrance of it will guide and correct me to heed that Word, and not my lower self.

That we are all part of God and God is part of us all. It's liberating and unifying all at once. I look at "you" and I see God. If everybody realized this, well .... think about it.

That I don't know what the truth is and that the best I can do is to live an honorable and loving life, trying to discover the truth, its meaning, and how it applies to me. The truth must be experienced to be known. I live as if what I believe is true so that others will see the truth of my experience. Truth is the goal. Once we have it, we improve our ability to act successfully in the world.

This is the truth, and it applies to everyone. All details are purely individual realities.

1. You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it, but it's the only thing you are sure to keep for the rest of your life.

2. You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called "Life on Planet Earth". Every person or incident is the Universal Teacher.

3. There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of experimentation. "Failures" are as much a part of the process as "success."

4. A lesson is repeated until learned. It is presented to you in various forms until you learn it: then you can go on to the next lesson.

5. If you don't learn easy lessons, they get harder. Pain is how the universe gets your attention.

6. You will know you've learned a lesson when your actions change. Wisdom is practice. A little of something is better than a lot of nothing.

7. "There" is no better than "here". When your "there" becomes a "here" you will simply obtain another "there" that again looks better than "here."

8. Others are only mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another unless it reflects something you love or hate in yourself.

9. Your life is up to you. Life provides the canvas; you do the painting. Take charge of your life, or someone else will.

10. You always get what you want. Your subconscious determines what energies, experiences, and people you attract. There are no victims, only students.

11. There is no right or wrong, but there are consequences. Moralizing doesn't help. Judgments only hold the patterns in place. Just do your best.

12. Your answers lie inside you. You know more than you have heard or read or been told. All you need to do is to look, listen, and trust.

13. You will forget all this.

14. You can remember any time you wish.
